On June 23 09 I answered an ad regarding a natural health product called RezvElite, the retailer offered a free trial period and the only cost was for the shipping and handling, the product would be delivered in 8 to 10 days later.
Nothing was shipped for nearly a month when a charge for $95.48 appeared on our Visa statement and an e-mail dated
July 20 in the AM claimed that since I had not returned the unused portion of the pills at the end of "the trial period"
of 14 days they were charging our credit card for that amount. I replied to the e-mail explaining what happened and
to refuse the product, I also offered to return the parcel which had finally arrived .
On July 23 I delivered the parcel in its original condition that is unopened to the UPS store at 3044 Bloor St. West #344
where it had been mailed, originally. The store manager made a photocopy of the parcel and placed it carefully with
many other parcels for that company.
Repeated phone calls to their" customer support department" failed to get an answer since it is simply an answering machine and over a dozen e-mails got me nowhere except into a very confusing series of lies and misrepresentations such as the necessity to ship the product to Guangzhou China, or alternatively to keep it for a discounted price .
The list of excuses for refusing to issue a refund was stunning, and no less than nine different
names of "customer agents" appeared on their e-mails.
