I placed an order through maacs.com and have been trying to get an answer as to what the status of my order was with no response. All numbers associated with MAACS have either been disconnected or require you to pay an additional fee to get the new number to even speak to anyone. I did more research and found that in FEB of 2009 MAACS (RFI Gear) was ordered to pay restitution to undelivered orders. I have filed a complaint with the BBB on both MAACS and RFI Gear. Digging a little deeper, I noticed that the invoice that I received from MAACS said RFI Gear on it. A Funny thing, its located in the same place as MAACS, moreover, when you call Allison at RFI Gear, she states that she is with RFI Gear and Maine Embroidery. An easy who is look up finds that that the owner / registrant of www.maineembroidery is none other than MAACS. Oh the web we weave when we try to deceive. So it appears that the flak that MAACS got was too much so they abandoned that ship and are now continuing their nefarious practices under the name of RFI Gear. MAACS was already known to be a part of Maine Embroidery, so RFI Gear is in essence just another name for MAACS, a business already known to not deliver products that have been paid for. Hopefully Attorney General Janet T. Mills will catch on to this and shut this business down.
AVOID RFI Gear or www.rfigear.com, MAACS or maacs.com
