I'll make it short because it’s so similar to others stories, and I'm still very emotional after 2 years.


We are a family of 6 but then 5. Wanted to relocate from California to Texas in 2007. Found Rickey Dec.2006. Husband flew out to meet him and give earnest money. Husband went to see home. Mind you through the back door! Sign #1. Flew back home and told Rickey we wanted the home and we would move in Feb 2007. Rickey said fine. However, all of a sudden 1 week later get a phone call saying we need to move faster or he couldn't sell us the house. So we transferred him over $8000.00 in his account. He never sent us the keys. He kept avoiding us. Not returning emails or phone calls. Making excuses why we haven’t received them. So he told us he would put it in a lock box outside the home. We drove over 1, 700 miles with our 3 daughters to come to a locked home with no lockbox! So my husband BROKE IN...Thinking this was our home so we are getting in! So of course we call him...another excuse. We get the "Deed" to the home finally. However, it looks suspicious it was not real. Bottom-line the real owners foreclosed on the home because he had scammed them too. Eventually we moved out and gave the owners back their home because we could not afford to live there any longer. The owners where wonderful people for even letting us stay and try to buy from them, but of course we were tapped out of money and too this day do not have the money to sue Rickey. There are other details to the story, but for the most part if you heard one story about him you've heard them all. I'm still furious to this day and hope he gets what’s coming to him!
