In July of 2009, I took a look at starting my own business, so I did some looking around on the internet. I few days later, I received a call from a man named Dave. He told me about his/their program helping people setup an on line business. One of the statements he made to me was, "We are not successful unless you are successful", stands out in my mind that made me believe this would work for me. He called me back the next day, telling me that I would need to pay them $5880.00. Like an idiot, I paid him with my credit card. I was given three days to change my mind. Well, I did try on the morning of the third day, but getting through to a live human being was impossible, so I decided to work hard to get this thing going. I followed all their criteria, I followed all their 'lesson plans' which included an on line training section. I had a 'coach' or what they referred to as a 'personal consultant' named Cristy. She had this well versed, trained nice voice and demeanor and she did well to keep me excited. When it came time to using their website builder, I started having trouble. I needed more specific info and specific questions answered. I was told to call the 'help' line. When I did, I sometimes waited for up to 30 minutes before I got to speak to someone. Many times I left a message and I would get a call up to four hours later. I was struggling with their builder, it was not working right for me. I needed specific help. I began to see a pattern. I was becoming a nuisance, they avoided me. I realized then that my business opportunity was doomed to fail. It never happened. My total costs were $6338.00. What a mistake. All I can say is 'DO YOUR RESEARCH' and if it sounds too good to be true, it is!
