I am Sreekesh from Bangalore. I would like to bring the attention of people who purchase items from ebay.co.in.Always make sure that the items you purchase from ebay comes with original warranty. Most of the shops in ebay say that they will give original warranty and the accessories you mention the advertisement won't be there when you get the courier. I purchased an Olympus Digicam (c-370 ) from ebay during August 05. It was mentioned in the advertisement that the pbox wil include the warranty card, but when I got the courier it was not there. I sent a mail to them, there was no response. I sent again and again,no luck. Then I thought of leaving it there. But unfortunately with in one year Imy camera went wrong and I had to repair that. But the authorised service centere told me to bring the warranty card otherwise the service charge will be almost half of the amount I paid for the camera. Then I rang up the shop RIMSHAS, Mumbai. Some times they will disconnect the phone, some times they say the MD is not there, and finally they ended up the conversation saying that it was delivered along with the camera and I could have missed the warranty card somewhere. They were not ready to give the same. Then I checked with my friends who bought digicams through ebay. The result was shocking. NONE OF THEM GOT WARRANTY CARD FOR THEIR CAMS....!!!! So I request all my friends not to go for items through ebay, if at all going, make sure that u get the warranty and all.
