Dropped off a camera to be developed last week, made sure I checked off what I wanted checked with the clerk to make sure it was right. She said yes and then verbally told her I wanted just a cd. she said that is what I marked. went to get it today and the store charged me for double prints i did not order and no cd. when i took special care to make sure it was right. then she tell me something different. train your clerks to say the same things. so we dont pay more for unwated merchandise !

Rite really can be a great place to work however it does have corruption and could use some changes in the way it operates.

There is a constant changing in programs to keep the customer coming back for more. But these programs have proven to have many holes in the ways of how they work and is creating more problems. The new Wellness Plus system is absolutely awful in the way that it works. I don't think Rite Aid see's it. It is so buggy, can be complicated and I won't even go into details how customers are robbing the company blind with all of these 'back doors' and 'loop holes' found. Also, you will find that many members of management or associates don't even know how all of these programs work either. Which all in itself creates a whole new slew of problems.

Upper management is an absolute mess. Pay rates are very low. Hours can be so scarce. Unexpected Lay-offs. Seniority means nothing. Positive communication does not exist (it's only mentioned if it doesn't need to be mentioned. when it is something that needs to be inforced/expressed/fixed... it's concidered a chore and it does not get accomplished).

You only receive yearly raises. Little or no training is offered when hired. It is hard to grow professionally due to favoritism and personal feelings of others. Excessive bouts of pessimism and criticism is not the key to a sucesseful company or work place. Not enough staff in some stores to maintain all quota's for the stores upkeep or proper customer service (which is why ratings are down for so many) thus creating tension and suffocating our best workers due to expectations held too high for them to uphold.

Also? I'm very certain that one half an hour break every 6 hours isn't exactly legal either (if you can even obtain the time to gain a break. but if you're caught with overtime, you get your head bitten off rather quickly and the system is very quick to point figners).

There isn't enough security for the stores. Theft/Scams are such a huge issue because it is not properly taken care of right off the bat. Polices really should be re-written and inforced, promptly as it should be.

You can give your all but don't expect anything in return.

Every time I go to pick up my refills they are out of my medicine and i have to return the following day. Medicines should be kept in stock and should be reordered before they run out.

I knew someone who filled out an application at this Revere location. They just had a baby and filled out a job application. After they said they didn't have a babysitter that day the manager asked for an interview (because you just can't get anyone to watch your kid), the manager dropped 'em like a hot potato. I guess interviews are only one day a week at Rite Aid? The girl even switched her availablity to EXACTLY what he wanted and he said, "I'll get back to you real soon, " than hung up! The next week, she came by and the manager gave her a nasty look! Their slogan is "With Us...It's Personal." Yeah, I guess it is, for moms who want to work! Are they biased against moms who want to work?

I was at Rite Aid. I was awaiting for various medications for my two year old who has been pretty ill the last few days. He was playing with my iPhone the only thing that calmed him down in his cranky state. Being a 2 year old he placed the phone down. As soon as I noticed I frantically looked on the floor when a Rite Aid sales associate approached me and said are you looking for a phone? I said Oh Yes! She said they turned it in at the front cashier. I hustled to the front where I received multiple no's. No one received a lost phone. At that point I approached the associate who directed me to the front in the first place where she said, you know what the individual who found it is here filling a prescription and you can ask her directly. I approached her and she said why yes, I handed it in to the woman at the first cashier. I approached the cashier again with the woman who turned it in and she denied it once more.

At this time I asked for the manager and he said there is no phone here. He beckoned for a second manager. I believe one was a manager and one was a supervisor. We both asked (myself and the person who found the phone) if he could review the tapes. He responded well you can't see them. I said I understood and that I just wanted him to see what occurred. At that moment he approached the other leadership person and they called the police. When the police arrived we explained the situation to them. The manager at that point was asked if he could review the tape. He repeated again, well they cant see the tape. The officer stated we know that, but you can review it, its your tape. At that point and he asked if her could speak to her in private. They stepped to the isle in view of us and moments later joined the group again and the officer said "he said the tape seems to be inconclusive". I asked what that meant and she just repeated herself, and she initialed something on a clipboard for the manager.

An investigation was conducted 4 days later and unfortunately I am still left without a phone.

The finding is that the phone was placed on the counter by the customer who found it. The customer made the cashier aware it. She nodded but the cashier didn't properly secure the phone. At which time another customer who was making a transaction at that very moment stole the phone. How convenient it all is. This was all deduced by the recounts of the cashier in question b/c of course the cameras have been out for a while so there is no footage to verify anything.

I am glad to hear that Rite Aid turns in an average of 3-4 phones a week, but my phone was not.

While I thank Rite Aid for their prompt response in addressing of this matter (the investigator was very gracious) I still am left without my phone. My pictures and video of my children are on that phone. My personal saved email is on that phone. My log in and passwords are stored on that phone. I feel as though my laptop was stolen.

I have been let down by Rite Aid tremendously after having been such a loyal customer and it’s all very unfortunate.
