Approx: 5 weeks ago, my connection failed on the 2nd computer, not the main {wireless}. It looked like the wire from the adaptor failed. I purchased another USB wire for the adaptor. No luck. I called RR and they responded quickly as normal. However the tech or installer missed a major item. My desktop was working. When he got done I had nothing. RR advised me to have my CPU checked. He had suggested, Best Buy {Geek Squad}
Their diagnosis was that the mother board was fried. I couldn't swallow that, so I called another business.
I did that, and the business I called came to my house and checked it out. {Receipt on file at Mayfair}
It turned out that, while securing the other boards by the RR person, he had loosened a previous board {Power Plug}.
The board was connected properly and, computer rebooted, all was fine. This business did confirm that the adaptor to the wireless, was defective. He replaced what was needed. I took the bill to the business above {RR} at Mayfair Mall. With all courtesy, said they would refund my money. Weeks went by with no phone call or mail-email. I went to Mayfair Mall and was guaranteed a phone call from the supervisor the next day. Several days later, he called and replied, that all would be taken care of in a day or so. I'm not sitting in front of the bill right now, it s $114.00. If you add the above time span to now, I got my cable bill, with no results about my refund.
Could you please check into this. It's not the money, I'm not going on a world trip, it's the principal.
