Robert Butler. Where should I begin? First, I suppose I should say that I am an independent 'researcher' and I choose to research things on a whim. A name might pop up that for whatever reason creates an interest that I follow through on.
Well, the name Robert Butler created within me such an interest, and all that follows in this letter can easily be verified should any of you who read this wish to actually go looking. Ok, not easily, but not that hard either.
Let's begin with the family. Robert Butler Jr married his wife some twenty or so years ago. Not that long ago (four or five years) they bought a house together except it seems Bob's PARENTS actually own the property. All this will make sense as you read on. About six years ago, this charming and charismatic individual began his relationship with Vilma Marino. The wife was unaware. In the following years Bob Butler began to hide assets. The corvette, his income and investments, all the small items that might have been included in an assessment of his assets and liabilities. Not only that, but taxes were said to be paid but actually were not. All the while the wife was blissfully unaware of the coming betrayal. His own children never knew of their father's double life. He was simply 'away working' or whatever. At any rate, the wife did eventually find out. With the affair discovered, our hero had little choice but to leave the family home, but constantly shouting his denials to the world. Seems funny to me researching all of this that our hero had such audacity, but read on, it gets worse. So much worse. Families being what they are tend to have bills, cars, insurance etc. Now, lets backtrack here a little. It appears through my research that Bob never actually intended to make the family home into the family home. Rather he had begun a meticulous plan to ruin and destroy his wife. With assets hidden, and traceable funds hidden in an LLC, he could then cry poor. Now how a man that earned regularly in the vicinity of 250K annually could go from that to zero defies common sense beleif, and ironically this is the year he files for divorce. Nevertheless this is what our hero has been claiming. By the way, these figures are from before the credit crunch and thus I have not included that as cause. So, the wife was left with a mortgage she could not pay (not just because of the income gap, but because her name does not appear anywhere on loans or ownership documents) and thus at the mercy of Bob's whims. As I understand things, medical insurance is an essential thing. What stunned me most and kept me digging into this disreputable man's history was the fact that he stopped paying for his children's medical insurance, leaving the wife without cover should anything go wrong. How any man could betray his children, and leave them open to such disastrous consequences leaves me sick to my core. How do I know about hidden assets? Well might you ask, but I assure you, a little digging of your own will reveal a mystery corvette that was once owned by this malicious soul, lo and behold, now belongs to one Vilma Marino and is insured with Geico, whilst the family car that the wife is utterly dependent on to ferry the children about was left uninsured. You must forgive me if I sound a little emotional, but this man is the reason women come to hate all men and he shames us all.
A little more research has turned up that Robert Butler has a history of fraud and has a criminal record as long as my arm.
Turns out that Robert Butler Jr, aka Bob Butler Jr, is the Owner and President of SaveMTG, which is a allegedly fraudulent mortgage modification company.
I have tended to focus upon Bob's family relations here more than his business ones as I figure that how a man treats his own family must surely be an indicator of how he might conduct business. A cursery glance at Bob's criminal record is all I needed to see. My research has indicated an almost pathological desire to utterly destroy and humiliate his wife and children. Yes, his children. Bob's own father has full knowledge of these going's on. How else could Bob's parent's have possession of the family home? Robert Butler Senior is as guilty of this inhuman treatment of his grandchildren as the father.
Some more facts that you may or may not be able to glean with resources available to you would be as follows:
· The falsification of employment records in order to reduce child support obligations.
· The falsification of income records for the same reasons and to reduce any alimony obligations.
· Robert Butler continues to lie about his living arrangements to legal parties and yet his father knows full well where his son lives.
· Robert Butler continues to use his own children as leverage in legal affairs and yet chooses to have no contact with them.
· He has only paid minimal child support, sporadically at that, and only under threat of a jail term imposed by the child support agency. To my knowledge those payments stopped some time ago, leaving this wonderful man in contempt of court.
· The wife is now facing eviction as the mortgage on the 'family' home has not been paid for some time – with the full knowledge of the 'owner' of the property. It seems to me that going to foreclosure is the best financial option for this charming man as the property is worth less than what is owed. Check the foreclosure web-sites for auction details if you so desire.
· The family car also faces repossession, while Lexus and the Corvette in his possession are safe.
· Failed to pay taxes for quite some years allowing the debt to accrue to a massive deficit.

To recap, Bob began an affair with his partner in this business. He systematically hid assets over 5 or 6 years in order to not only ruin but to destroy his own family. He has lied (criminally I might add) about taxes and incomes for several years, AND has allowed his own home to go to foreclosure.

Now, I ask you, is this the kind of fellow you would have manage your financial affairs (saveMTG)? (see other postings on saveMTG her ein this site by folks directly affected).

I think not.

All of this information can be verified if you choose to dig deep enough. I will not reveal sources but the paperwork I have is genuine. What I would like to know is A) where are the police, and B) how is it that the lawyers involved in the divorce proceedings cannot see this man for the cheating, lying, manipulative toad he is and at least do what's right for the children, and C) why is the law arranged so much in the perpetrators favor leaving the victims unprotected?
