I responded to an inquiry from the seller for a LOUIS VUITTON SPEEDY 30 MINI LIN off Ebay. He had sent me a total of six (6) ACTUAL pictures of the item including ALL paper works such as Louis Vuitton tag, booklet, dust bag, shopping bag & the ALLEGED purchased receipt from Bloomingdales. I initially offered $330.00 for it but he asked for more money claiming that he paid over $800.00 for the item which, I agreed and paid him $400.00 using my debit bank account through PayPal, an e-commerce business allowing payments and money transfers to be made through the internet. I received the item on September 5, 2009 at 4:00 PM and after carefully checking the item, I found out that he sent me a COUNTERFEIT ITEM. From the pictures he sent me through email, the date code of the item was SP2069 but the item he sent me has a date code of AR0035 and does not look right or authentic. The Louis Vuitton date code is basically the month and year when the item was manufactured. I inquired to a Louis Vuitton online help who has knowledge whether the item is authentic or counterfeit by sending pictures of different angles of the item that was sent to me and two (2) persons confirmed that the item is fake or not authentic. Today, September 06, 2009, I immediately went to Louis Vuitton store in the Galleria mall in Houston and the sales associate CONFIRMED THAT THE ITEM IS INDEED FAKE OR COUNTERFEIT. On one of the pictures with all the paper works, he sent me the wrong tags with Product ID# N51998 instead of Product ID# M95224. From my understanding, he uses an original receipt, tag & booklet to bait you to fall to his trap but sends you the FAKE item. By doing that, this person could VICTIMIZE more people since he already had an intention to con other people and I am basically one example that he deceived/tricked/swindled for money. Up to this date, I still have not received any word from ROBERT FRANCIS TAPANG after sending him more than ten (10) emails. I wish for him to have a record of selling counterfeit item/s which is against the law of the United States.
