Turned over accounts to Roberto & Associates to a Michael Wood. I have since tried to call the company and the phone is disconnected. The fax number they gave me has been disconnected. I have and email address to Michael Woods and have sent emails but have not received any returns. I gave them over 350 thousand dollars in judgments to collect and have never received any money.

I contacted Roberto & Associates after finding them on line. I sent all my info. to them in July 09. I was trying to collect $ from someone who owes my company $. By the end of July, they said they have tried all different ways of contacting my dead beat customer. They recommended that I retain their lawyer. I agreed and sent them a check, made out to them, for$950.00. It is now January 2010 & their number is no longer working. I can't find their website. I've been taken by a collection agency.

I contacted Roberto & Associates June 1, 2009 via there website I submitted a account for the to collect, I received a phone call on June 5, 2009 that they received the money from the debtor via check by phone I assumed that i would receive my money with 2 weeks I then called Roberto & Associates back and they informed me that I would have to wait until Aug 1, 2009 for my money to be released well its Aug 3, 2009 and I called them back and asked if my money was released and they informed me that I would have to wait until Sept 1, 2009 for my money to be released, I talked to the Sorry Supervisor MR. ADAMS and he was very angry telling me that is was there company policy to hold money collected for 90 days and he could hold it longer or 120 days if he wanted to. I then did research on Roberto & Associates and found numerous complaints against them, so I made another call to Roberto & Associates and asked for a copy of there company policy and was told that they would not send me a copy of it I was talking to James Andrews, Mr. Andrews told me again it would be Sept 1, 2009 since they received the money by check by phone, I assured them that they only had 30 days to release my money and told them about all the complaints and he told me to research Microsoft that they to had numerous complaints and that the complaints does not do anything to them and that I would just have to wait until Sept 1, 2009 for my money
