Dishonest Service
Don't think, for one second, no matter what Tom Martino says, that Rocky's is any different from any other used car dealer. The 2003 Saturn Vue they sold us was originally marked at 11, 000 dollars, but through their "Red-Tag Sale" and "Matching Down Payment Incentive" they were able to bring the price down to 8, 000 dollars (that price is only about a thousand dollars over KBB Dealer price for that vehicle in EXCELLENT condition, which it was not!) Our salesperson, Heath, said we would need to pay $500 more in our down payment than we had specified we could pay, to which we told him that we needed that money for taxes, title, etc. Heath told us not to worry, because Rocky's pays ALL of those fees. When the paperwork to go get our plates came in the mail, the DMV was requiring $438 MORE in taxes that Rocky's DID NOT PAY. After that, we had a meeting with our salesman and HIS boss, in which he denied saying Rocky's WOULD pay. Rocky's would NOT honor the original deal. Be aware! Rocky's Autos does the EXACT SAME DISHONEST, CLICHED THINGS THAT OTHER USED CAR DEALERS DO! (I tried to post a review of my experience to Tom Martino's Referral List, but, I guess, since Rocky's is a major sponsor, they won't post bad reviews, lol)

Entire deal
When first purchasing our Saturn Vue, my husband and I thought Rocky's was great and different from other dealerships. We were very wrong. Not only was the car marked $3, 000.00 over blue book value, which they somehow were able to lower the price through "a special deal", but the salesperson was dishonest in many aspects. We were pressed to put $500 more down which were said we were saving for the license taxes but Heath, our salesperson, said that Rocky's covered all taxes and we wouldn't need to pay anything. Papers came and it turned out we had to pay $438.00 more. He also told us that the "by here pay here" loan would not be sold to another company which in fact it was. When we confronted both Heath, the salesperson, and the President of the company, Heath denied saying anything and became very defensive and impolite. The president of the company spoke to us like we were children and listened to nothing we said. So, if you go to Rocky's autos get every little detail they say in writing, not just the contract but everything, and be smart about your buy. Don't be fooled, they are not the all trusting company they say they are!
