23687 Solow Spam
I got charged for $5 each of "23687 Solow" spam message, and total of $25 for 5 spams. Rogers sent me a bill. So I contacted rogers asking for refund, rogers said it collects money for Solow, let me contact Solow. This is very outrageous. I said, I pay rogers fee, I use rogers service, and I got bill from rogers, why I cannot contact rogers to resolve this issue, rather, you want to pass the ball and let me contact tihs spamer Solow. Rogers CSR showed very impatient and said they cannot do anything about that. So, I complain here that if rogers would help spamer to collect spamming money rather than help its "valued" customers, I would seriously consider that Rogers is part of spamming.

misleading communications
I have had my new phone service from Rogers Wireless turned off twice now. Today was the most recent. After having a long converstaoin yesterday with them when I was informed that I was under $100 owed by Feb 14, I tired to make a call today and learned that the service had been turned off. When I called Rogers they told me my bill was over $200. No one could explain to me how I could have had a conversation less than 24 hours before about my bill being fine and now I was without service. This type of communication is awful and puts the consumer at risk. There is no way for me to track (as seemingly there is no way for them to track) the minutes of usage. And in the end it is hurting my credit rating. When I asked if I could talk to a manager, I was told they would tell me the same thing, which was nothing but that I had to pay a minimum amount if I wanted my service restored. What can I do to save my credit and stop from being pushed up against a wall without any idea that the truck is coming?

sereptitious charges
On the internet, up popped an offer from Rogers to win a prize. I thought I would try and entered. Then I started receiving text questions to answer. I don't even know how to use my telephone for texting. Then I received my bill, normally paid automatically on my credit card charging $32.00 for wireless usage, 16 calls at $2 a shot. I didn't sign up for this. If there was a warning it wasn't at all obvious. I phoned to stop the pestering, which they did, but I' still out at least $32.

Customer Service
I've been trying to get an iphone 4 since they were announced. I've been going to the Rogers Plus centre at 130 King Street West. I've been continually told that I should come around 2:30 on maybe a Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, and stand in line to see whether the courier might bring in a couple of iphones. There is no waiting list and no other way to acquire a phone through Rogers.

Today when I asked how Bell and Telus manage to get phones and distribute them to customers without asking busy professionals to come and hover around the sales desk in case the courier brings a couple of phones, I was told by the sales associate, "They can do it because no one buys from them". When I answered that "You're convincing me to switch", his only response was "That's your business".

I'm amazed that no one at Rogers is embarrassed by your inability to make phones available 4 months after the launch. My frustration with Rogers led me to cancel our cable TV services. While I know that switching my family's cell phone service would be pricy, the attitude of the company and thr sales associates is pushing me to do it.

fradeulant transaction
I never bought an iphone 4 for my account from rogers and they charged me for it. So when I call them they say i am lieing. I want them to show me the paper work when i signed and bought it from them.

Useless customer service
Rogers wireless staff have no idea of thier inventory. No one knew if an item was in stock or not. The computer said one thing but the actual item was on back order.

If I knew this info before hand I would have chosen another phone. Instead it has been over one week now without my phone. There way out is too offer you a discount. Which does not even make a dent on the time wasted on hold and dealing with staff who are complete morons.

This company just does not care for thier loyal customers.

Rogers *** big time.

Stay away
Rogers is such a poor excuse for a company I don't know how they stay in business. Customer service *** and all the robot staff sing the same crap. You have no other recourse except to shut up and take rheir crap, poor service, dropped calls, lost or wrong billing info and nobody takes responsibility, not to mention their corporate or senior management will not speak to customers. The example I have is that I was late in payments but I called and made a schedule with them. It was my fault that I let my teenager run up the bill, money was tight. Rogers agreed to the terms, however they still continually called and harassed me for payment. When I said there was a schedule in place they would hang up. This continued for months, sometimes 2-3 phone calls within a couple of hours. Nobody at Rogers could stop their system from calling. They blamed their dialer, nobody from management could deal with this issue. Finally got caught up, yet one day late on the account and the calls started again and continued for three more months. You can complain, file with consumer groups but nothing gets done. We need a means to get rid of these parasites...Also Rogers also owns FIDO, but that is a secret for those pissed at Rogers think they get away from them and go to Fido. Wrong they have you there too. Same with Telus, they own KOODO. If they are such great companies why do they hide under different names???? I guess Bell is our only hope, but they ar eprobably owed by both Rogers and Telus...!

Stay away from Rogers, they are the worst or the worst...=(

Billing
I signed a 3 year Blackberry contract with Rogers. My plan originally was for $180 a month. about a year after I had to relocate for work to another country, and I called and asked to be put on a minimum plan so that I keep my number plus be able to use my phone when I am visiting home. The next time I was visiting (for two weeks) I received a bill for $900!!! I paid about $600 of that, only to receive another bill for $1250!! I finally called -long distance no less- numerous times, and finally it turns out that they canceled my account all together (instead of putting me on a minimum plan) and so I was plan-less the next time i visited and was being charged $2 a min for usage, as well as a penalty of $1250 in cancelation fees!! Someone promised to get back to me and fix this, and I am still waiting...sad thing is that I am on my way back home for another visit, and they have kept my number - with no plan- hostage and I cannot use it, or use and get charged an arm and a leg. I called again today (I leave tonight for a 30 hour trip back home) and was told their systems are being maintained and basically too bad for me...
I HATE ROGERS!
