I booked accommodation at the Grateful Guest House in Bloemfontein via the internet using a company called Rooms for Africa. Upon arrival we found that the accommodation was really sub-standard and nothing like what is mentioned on the Rooms for Africa website. I really feel that the company should check the accommodation to ensure it is up to the standard advertised. I wrote a review of the accommodation as requested by Rooms for Africa but three months later I see they still only list the positive review on their site. I e-mailed Rooms for Africa twice but received no response. I did receive an apology from Grateful Guest House but it hardly makes up for not being able to shower and shabby accommodation that ruined the break for everyone.

Stay away from Grateful Guest house and don't believe anything on Rooms for Africa's website until you have actually seen it!
