hotel accomodation not paid for
Paid roomnet.com for holel in Palma, Majorca on 2nd August. When I arrived on 21st September of course the hotel had not been paid for. The hotel managed to contact somebody on my behalf who spoke English whom I presume represented Roomsnet.com and told me to claim against my credit card company. Sent them a cheeky email and they replied promising me a refund within 15 days. Needless to say no money has arrived. My own feeling is that this company will go into liquidation if it has not done so already. At least will help to claim from my credit card company.

I booked a holiday in tenerife with roomsnet.com. I phoned the Optimist in Tenerife yesterday and they told me that my holiday had been cancelled because no money had been paid by roomsnet.com.

room booking
we booked a hotel in Mallorca with Roomsnet.com and paid over £450 on credit card, when we arrived at the hotel we were told the room had been cancelled becuase they had not received payment from Roomsnet.com. We exhausted all avenues trying to contact them, they do not answer their phones or reply to e mails. We contacted a relative in the UK who also tried and got an e mail off them saying the problem was due to a system error and that they would refund us the full amount which would take 5 working days to be re-credited to our credit card, they also advised us to pay the hotel directly. We paid another £400 to the hotel as we were left with no alternative, when we got home surprise, surprise - no refund had been made on the credit card. We have spent a fortune on phone calls from abroad trying to contact them and what should have been a stress free holiday was completely the opposite. We are now trying to get our money back through the credit card, can anybody give me the phone number for this Amanda woman and any more information .

fraud
my friend and i booked aholiday to lanzerote for the 11 sept back in may payment was paid in full on that day of booking and when we arrived at the hotel we were told that no payment had been maid to the hotel.I rang the number provided by roomsnet.com for an emergancy but no one answered even though it is advertised on their websit as 24 hours help line . When you do eventually get through to the number it gives you a message saying noone is available to take call at the moment so leave a message i lef about 10 messages i also emailed and sent a fax.According to their website they are a registered company but it seems that they are not trust worthy. My friend and i had to pay again for the accomadation.

cancelled bookings no refund
Having read a lot of forums on the internet about people having trouble with roomnet.com, and having booked a room with them in july, i checked with the hotel in spain to find they had recieved no payment and the booking had been cancelled. I am trying to get the money back from the credit card firm as i have had no luck contacting roomsnet via phone or email. Now I am taking it a step further and invite people who have not had a refund to join me in contacting bbc watchdog programme to see if we have any joy with their help. They should not be allowed to get away with this as it is basically fraud.

Hotel Booking
I booked a hotel through Roomsnet.com and upon my arrival at the hotel I was told that my booking had been cancelled by Roomsnet.com the previous day. I had to pay again at the hotel and was told by Roomsnet that they would refund me the money. Nearly 4 weeks have now passed and I have only been given a partial refund and only got that after phoning almost every single day of my holiday. I would strongly advise against booking a hotel/apartment through this website.
