We've moved to Mexico City at the beginning of the year from the USA. We used Rosa del Monte as our moving company and they offered us an insurance coverage with Pac Global insurance. Despite of the weather problems, Rosa del Monte finally arrived to my place to pack everything, however some of the workers did a horrible work at packing some of the furniture. When all our items arrived to Mexico, after more than the time that was estimated, we realized that some of the furniture was damaged and broken. We claimed all the items, which were valued in the inventory, to the insurance company and of course they don't want to pay the real value of each item.
After asking us for a letter of a serious company stating what was the price for repairing each item, they decided to send a millworker from another insurance company to do an estimate. This estimate which we haven't seen, is lower than what we have claimed, but what it is incredible is that we have been asking for it and for some reason or the other they don't want to send it. We wonder if it really exists. On the other hand, we did send them two other detailed budgets from serious furniture companies based in Mexico city, even from the direct manufacturer of some of the items, which included the price and the detailed description of the repairs and they've decided to overlooked them. Now, they are sending us a final estimate which they are forcing us to accept but without being responsible for any repair.
I can't believe that a serious company, as Pac Global claims to be, can't send us a real legal document which could back up their estimate. And moreover, Rosa del Monte is doing nothing.
