I am flabbergasted with their inability to activate the software. I purchased my Rosetta Stone over a year and a half ago. I own version 3 all 5 levels. This purchase cost me over 550.00. Unfortunately, I have encountered problems with my computer which has required me to reinstall this software and all other software's previously loaded in my computer. What's worse is the receipt has been misplaced or disposed of therefore without the proof of purchase, I can no longer utilize the product and whats worse is I haven't completed levels 3 through 5. I registered the product when it was purchased, they have all my information on file/database so I don't see what the problem is regardless of the number of times I have to reinstall, I should be able to use this software.
Attached is a photo. In this photo you will see the complete kit. The audio companion, levels 1-5, ( at top) and below is the language software level 1-5. In the corners are the original box the product comes in and the sticker price which you can't see is 699.00. The headphones are included in the kit but not in this photo. This was purchased from Barnes and Nobles in New York and with the help from family, we were able to buy the entire kit. Rosetta needs to review their policy and change it. I pay this kind of money for any product, I expect no conditions to be attached especially considering that this version is not available on their site. I refuse to be treated or feel as if I am a suspect. I am almost inclined to give a heads up to any potential buyer for this product that I see at these Rosetta booths in the mall. If you have a similiar experience with Rosetta Stone then I would like to hear from you.
