I work at a Ross in San Diego and have to deal with daily complaints from adults acting like 10 year olds!
1. Lines are too long.
Maybe if we were able to schedule more than 2 cashiers in the morning, we might be able to move faster than lightning. Also, how about you people stop coming in during your 30 minute lunch break and stop b*tching at us because you need to go.
2. Cleanliness
a Act like grown ups and put your stuff back on the hanger rather than the floor. We are not your mothers! I will keep someone on the floor rather than ring because of the adults who chose to be slobs and just throw merchandise all over the floor. The worse being other associates from other stores! Believe it or not, they are worse than these uncivilized shoppers that we get on a daily basis.
b. Discipline your children and keep them by your side! We are not running a day care in the toy department! You negligent parents, do you have any idea how many child molesters are loose and you would rather shop than watch your kids! Either teach them to behave or leave them at home!
c. Single lines are faster than a line per register. Stop playing stupid and trying to cut in line by going straight to a register. Then act like a smart ass because you claim you didn't see the 10+ people in the line in the main aisle!
3. Returns
I personally, and the majority of our customer service WILL NOT take back used merchandise! Grow up! I'm tired of explaining that we can't take back your tramp shoes because they hurt your feet after wearing them! Or returning a filthy, stinking dress on a Monday after we all know you wore the damn thing to some function that weekend! We are not renting clothes! Either try it on in the store or at home before you decide to wear everything and then decide that you look like a cow in it!
Any other complaints, go ahead and post them and then post where you work so I can go act like a savage animal at your place of business and see how you like it!
Just because we work at Ross does not mean we work for you or that any of us have to take your abuse!
Grow up!
