LETTER SENT TO
MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF HERALDRY
Dear Mr David Wooten
for the past several years there has been a person by the name of Roy Hosford, (Family origins PTY Ltd)
That is making many false claims using YOUR name.
MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF HERALDRY is listed on Mr Hosford's Website on practically every single page
Lets begin, this person who claims to be master of heraldry has just six coats of arms displayed on his website.
The one named Bovalina is complete FAKE.
(See Screenshot below)
He claims ...This coats of arms was taken from Reitstaps General armorial.
Bull...If you check Reitstaps General Armorial there is no Bovalina coats of arms listed.
So this is Complete FRAUD!
If you read Mr Hosford's About Us Page see link below
http://www.namehistories.com/aboutus.html
He writes...
Family Origins (member of the American College of Heraldry) was established in 1986 to supply hand painted coats of arms and hand written histories to the trade.
Mr Hosford also writes...
IMPORTANT NOTICE;
All our coats of arms come with an authenticity stamp. This means you can actually check to see which historical book they were taken from.
What a load of bull...
There is no such name listed as Bovalina listed in Reitstaps General armorial and so this is COMPLETE FRAUD!
Readers please be WARNED!
I have since had a reply from the American college of heraldry and they have informed me that Roy Hosford is certainly not affiliated with The American College of Heraldry. In fact, their type of organization is one which the College advises its members, to be warned against.
SO...READERS BEWARE!
