RPM has been calling our home over and over and over
RPM has been calling our home over and over and over. My partner is disabled with a chronic illness and filed for bankruptcy years ago so we know the bill they are supposedly chasing is very old and has already been taken care of under the filing. I finally told her to pick up and tell them to stop calling. They refused demanding her financial information and asking her how she was going to take care of the bill today. She explained she was not. I have worked in the civil division of the court and know that each collection agency has an attorney. We asked for that information, they refused to give it to us. We asked for them to stop calling, they refused. I asked directly which court they file their liens with, they refused to give that information. I asked for names and was given false names and when I told them that they are on every rip off site on the internet and that the information they were giving was false, they got very irritated. I am going inform the court of their details. If you get calls from this agency, go to your local district courts civil desk and ask for information on the agency through a records search. It should give the name of the attorney who handles their agency. I don't believe they are legitimate. They say they don't know who is calling but they have a trace on the number. Ours is unlisted but over and over they were able to reel off my partners name. They refused all of our return calls after we told them we were reporting them. It's a public holiday today. If I get another call, I am filing an anti-harrassment order with the court and serving the office. My guess is the registered office will blame it on the call center, the call center will blame it on the agent doing the calling and so on down the line. We don't have to take this crap. As a consumer, know your rights and exercise them. There is information they have to provide. Also, write directly to the company, via registered mail, and demand to be removed from the list. Make sure you get a registered receipt and present it to the court if they continue calling.

Not my account they are calling about
I have been recieving calls from RPM about a past due SPRINT bill that is not mine. I have the same name as the person they are looking for but that is it. They have called my work, cell and old home numbers looking for me even after i told them it wasn't me that they are looking for. They were very rude and demanded that i pay my debit. i have complained to SPRINT and to RPM. they need to make sure they have the correct person before they start demanding money!!! They need to stop finding people with the same name and blaming them for something that is not theirs.

Scam
I authorized a $20 payment via my debit card. RPM charged my account $25, they said the $5 was a transaction fee that they may/or may not have told me about.

I also tried to move the date of another payment I was to make, I was assured by the agent I originally spoke with that is was "no problem". The agent I spoke with tonight said the payment was "set in stone" and couldn't be changed, THEN HUNG UP ON ME!!

A complaint has been filed with the Ohio Attorney General and any/all future charges from the "company" will be blocked as soon as the bank opens in the morning.

I'm sure Sprint will love hearing about this, since that is who RPM is supposedly representing.

Past due on accounts
No money owed on this account. Bogus collection. Fraud attempt to collect money.

Fraud
RPM collections calls and does not have any info on what you actually owe, because they are a fraud. All they get is a number and a name and try to say you owe them money. Tell them to send you documentation. If they ask what your address is, tell them if you really owe them money they should have it! Do not give them any money! They might tell you they are calling about debt for your cellualr service Sprint or Verizon, but they really are just trying to scam you out of money. They should try to collect by mail first. Do not give them any information about yourself or your business. You will lose out!
