Bait and switch pricing!
I'm a Real Estate agent now in another state now but worked in Florida for 12 years. My agent in St. Petersburg FL needed to open and rekey my rental property. She had a quote from her usual locks smith for $110 to open and rekey one lock. She checked with Run Local Locksmith and they quoted her $65 for the same service, so she used them to save me money. I received a bill for $185 which is almost 3 times higher than quoted. I know it was a quote but it tripled. I called the company and was shuffled around and put on hold for 30min. I finally spoke with a manager and he said they never would give such a quote. This company is dishonest so beware!
To the company, I and my realtor have been in the business for quite a long time and I promise this will get to every Realtor on the Tampa board. Karma's a Bitch!

Satisfactory service Provider
I was struck up in the highway motel when I forgot my keys in my car. Found this company Run Local Locksmith through the net and called their car lock specialist. Was quite satisfied to see that the car lock was opened in next 30 minutes!! This included the time taken for him to reach the motel!! I was happy to pay the charges, which I think were quite reasonable.

Outrageous Prices When They Arrive
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I blame myself for not searching further before agreeing to have them come out. I foolishly locked my keys in my car, of course, on a morning when I really needed to be somewhere. I called Run-Local-Locksmith. They said the charge was $29 plus the technician's labor. They said the technician would give me the estimate when he arrived. I asked the average labor charge and they said $45. I thought the $74 was high but agreed. they said the tech would be there within 30 minutes. After 50 minutes I called the tech who said he was driving to me and would be another 15 minutes. I called the company and they gave me a 10% credit. When the tech finally arrived, the labor was $145!!! I was desperate by now so I paid the charge minus the 10%. The tech did get the door open. I am frustrated with myself for the whole situation. But, this company is NOT ETHICAL. Hopefully, I will never lock my keys in my car again. If I ever need a locksmith, I will do more research. I hope someone reads this and avoids this company because of my report.

Never use that scam !
That national company, advertises low service fee ($29), and prices 10% to 25% lower than local locksmiths. The word"local" in its name lends to think they can be trusted. I needed a simple pair of Kwikset locks on my apprtment door unlocked, my spare keys were in the appartment. i got their tel # from a friend who saw the low price advertisement
The technician insisted against my better judgement that he had to change the 2 locks, charged me $336 for it, which I paid since I was desperate to get to work. I called several real local locksmiths 2 days later and put a stop on my credit card payment. They all said they could surely open that type of locks for a total of $70-$80. My bill listed $180 for opening the 2 locks, $110 for the 2 locks. I checked the current price of the current similar pair of Kwikset locks (they used an older model) : $50.
I know of 2 other instances when that company has insisted to change locks needlessly. Their low prices advertising is deceptive sicne they charge outrageously high prices compared to honest local artisans
