Recently, my grandmother called Russell W. Knickel Plumbing & Heating. She thought she was saving me the hassle of dealing with a simple household problem. Unfortunately, she was dramatically overcharged for a routine job.
I called Russell W. Knickel Plumbing & Heating and requested a detailed invoice of the services provided. My intent was to see what other services were performed for an invoice of this magnitude.
Guess what?
The request was refused. The request was not even considered. I was scoffed at by Mr. Knickel.
Ironically, Mr. Knickel did not have the invoice or paperwork in front of him, but clearly remembered all details of the job from a month ago. Interesting!
Other plumbers state the job should have cost almost 50% less than the invoice. Without a detailed invoice, it’s hard to compare. However, Mr. Knickel refused to detail his estimate and used mockery when questioned. I’m led to believe we were robbed.
Use caution if using this plumber. Get a detailed list of services prior to the work being done.
