While driving a Ryder truck, I was cited by the Indiana State Police for operating a vehicle with an expired fuel permit. A contact at the St. Charles location from where the vehicle originated and the general manager from the leasing site told me to turn the ticket in to Ryder with my paperwork and they would handle its settlement. I did. Two years later, a collection agency billed me for $178.15 for non-payment. I contacted the same general manager as well a human resources rep who both again told me that Ryder would pay this fine. One month later 9/10/10 The collection agency threatened to suspend my license if payment was not made in one week. I paid the fine. Human resources at Ryder then referred me up the ladder to a supervisor whom I have called twice and left messages with. I have received no response to these messages.
