Had to deal with the collection agency the first time in my life because of my husband's poor decision. After several attempts of trying to explain several S & A Collection Agency representatives that the bill doesn't belong to me but to my husband and I needed more time to straighten it out, that agency reps kept hanging up on me. Finally, one of the reps sent me an e-mail saying that the debt had to be paid by May 29 in full. On May 27 I received another phone call from a very rude collector, who kept screaming like a broken record that the debt had to be paid in full. When I asked him not to scream and transfer me to his supervisor, his answer was: "You are not getting any supervisor." Then I hung up and called back and asked to speak to a manager. After I got the manager on the phone and explained what had taken place, he calmly said: "Well, everybody has their own way to collect money. So how you would like to pay this bill?"
