Fraud
I needed a rental due to an auto theft, Saban's seemed hassle free so I went to rent a car for the duration of my theft issue, to start I was assured that they would work with my insurance company with third party billing all i needed was 250.00 in deposit and first weeks rent. I quickly realized that I had put up 400.00 or lied to about the fee. Which is yet to be determined. So 4 days in I had to return the car as it was a road hazard. Again my card was charged additional deposit but was to be reimbursed on Friday when my 3rd party billing kicked in. So on Friday I was informed by my ins. that they refused to do as promised, and were 5 times higher than the rest so I needed to look else where. Well to make it worse my best friend had died that Thursday in a car wreck so I was starting Friday off distraught and out of sorts. I was to return the car by noon and after staying up with the family I was running behind and I called at 10:30 to inform them that I would be late and needed the car maybe another day. I was told tough luck unless I prepaid an additional week I had to be there by noon. This was impossible given the drive time between car companies. As I rushed to make it to get a replacement I got lost and realized I was too late and just decided I would have to keep this car. It was then 1:30 my cell was dead so I was just going to drive in. Realizing it was lunch and I was starving and I was within a mile of my dead friends home I decided to pull into Jack in the Box and get lunch for myself along with 20 hamburgers and fries for the family I would drop them off on my way to Saban's . As I sit in the drive through of Jack in the Box. A large man comes up and knocks on my windshield and tells me to roll down the window. I was afraid of him but he insisted knocking louder and louder. As I did he instructed me to get out of the car. I was floored was he seriouse? He was from Saban's and the car was turned in as stolen. I began to panic. It was hot, It was a busy intersection, I had my 3 year old, all this food and was wearing high heel sandals. Plus the car had all of my things like car seat, briefcase, etc. This was no joke I was kicked out at the intersection of 48th and Broadway with a baby, car seat, bags of food, purse, briefcase, and these high heels a mile from the home of my friend who had died 15 hours earlier. I was allowed to plead with the man on the phone who only cussed me out as I wept and my child also cried. This company turned on of the worst days ever into THE worst day imaginable. As I walked and could only cry aloud dropping my possessions and food along the way I would never imagined they would then charge me the last 150.00 I had on my credit card, And swear they had the right. I just tried to ignore it and put it to rest until today, a month later I look at my statement and these worm's have now charged me an additional 78.00 a month later. If this is not illegal nothing is. I will file charges with local police tomorrow and Attorney General in the A.M. Do I have to cancel the card I have had for years to stop this fraud or what are my options. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY !!! THEY ARE THIEVES AND CREDIT CARD FORGERS> I hope to soon have an arrest.
