I just bought some bread at the SeaTac Safeway. The artisan bread all looks the same. I grabbed some sourdough instead of French bread. I hadn't noticed until I was leaving. I went back to the cashier. I was told I would have to go to customer service and get a refund. Then I would have to go back to go back to the bakery and get the bread. I am on a very short lunch break and just don't have time to do all of that.

I had earned a 10 cent credit towards gas from my last shopping trip and when we went to use it last night, it was not available. There has to be a way to use a pin number so not everyone can use your credits that has your phone nubmer. I really needed that credit yesterday and am extremely frustrated with the system. I would also like the option of choosing when I want to use my credit.

I responded to the new safeway at Brandywine Crossing today and was Kiaras line and she had just got finished waiting on a customer and starting digging in her head scratching for about a minute then looked at her very long nails to see if anything came off her head. VERY unsanitary, she looked at me then proceeded to ring up my groceries. Again VERY unsantiary. I was appauled by the unconcern of the young lady behind the register. She needs to get the basic training on what not to do at the register when touching customers food. I was to angry to speek to the manager at that point. I dont want to cost any one their job however cashiers need better training.

You know the Safeway at Arbutus Mall?? That is one place that I wouldn't want to go, cause their store manager there is so rude, cuz i see him walking by the safeway starbucks and he starts sweet talking the female baristas and starts touching them in an unappropriate manner and he starts looking directly at their chests, while he drags their male barista(s) into his office and they walk out with a sad disappointed face. I wonder if corporate safeway is aware of these issues. If they are awar they should shut this place down.

I recently moved to a "poor" neighborhood. Greeted by a security guard every time I go in doesn't bother me. The fact that there are 4 express lanes and 1 non-express (not always open) certainly lets me know that they are expecting a lottery ticket and beer crowd, sure. When I do my grocery shopping and (as directed) stand in one of the express lines with my 50+ items, I (understandably) get a lot of hateful glances and comments from the people behind me who are following me. My guilt usually causes me to let up to four people go ahead of me. Then I complain, and the checker invariably tells me, "oh, we don't mind." Good for them. The last straw is that if I go to get a deli item, they tell me I have to pay for it there, even if I've got a huge cart of groceries. In all my life I've never had to do this at a Safeway . Usually, I tell them I don't want to use my card twice, and to keep their 79c burrito. I'm sure they've had issues with abandoned deli wrappers (like all safeways) turning up in an aisle later, but this sort of solution amounts to subtle discrimination, in my mind. I am sick of this poor example of a grocery store, and will drive the extra five miles in the future to avoid being treated like a criminal when I want some hot food.
