After my work out I decided that I wanted Chinese food and thought to give Saigon Kitchen my business. I called to place an order to go and I kindly asked if they can separate the egg roll and the sweet pastry they give so that it does not become soggy by the time I get home 15 minutes later. A few minutes later I get a called from the owner telling me that they will have to charge me .50 cents for the bag to separate my order. I was disgusted by this outrages charge. It is not about the money, but how they can get away charging for simple request, maybe they can get away with this in China but here in the United States if you're in business you do not nickel and dime a customer for every little thing like separating egg roll from your food so that it doesn’t get soggy. I urge you to make a stand and not accept his behavior, they should be lucky we are spending money to keep them in business in this terrible economy.
