My wife and I lived there for three years in the same duplex. Our problem is they refuse to give us any of our security deposit back which is $818.00.

They told us on the phone that they were going to keep every penny of it because they had to paint in there ( which they do every time someone vacates a duplelx), they had to cleans the carpeting( which they always do), but then she said they had to rent these three big ozone machines for three days to clean out the heating vents and they still smelled. Yes we are smokers, but we did not smoke in the duplex, there where no signs on the walls of smoking, the apartment was left very clean. When she mentioned the ozone machines she said " Even if you never smoke in there, your clothes would permete thru the walls and carpteting . She told my wife the same thing. My wife hung up on her. Our neighbor who lived in the other half of the building we met in the store, last week and he told us they were doing the normal things, painting and cleaning the carpeting like they always do. I HAVE NO INTENTION OF SITTING DOWN FOR THIS AND BE CHEATED. i SHOULD GET CLOSE TO $600.00 BACK. This is a Catholic Retirement village.
