While the St. Gregory appears to be a luxury hotel on the outside the suites, at least the one we stayed in had a serious problem.
BEDBUGS.
We informed the desk staff to no avail. We've written a letter to the general manager Jay Haddock (sent via email, mail, and fax) and as of this writing nothing has been done. Even showing our arms to the desk clerk didn't elect a response.
Between the two of us we have approximately 25 bites each on our bodies. We had to throw away most of the items in our suitcase including the suitcase rather than risk bringing them home. And although its been 3 days since our visit to the St. Gregory I find myself still scratching, still paranoid, and still upset that a LUXURY HOTEL would not only have bedbugs but not even offer an apology for our suffering.
Please don't stay at this hotel its gross.
