I had a digital camera and was having trouble getting the mini CD to load the software. I call the 877 number on the CD. The technicial support rep asked me for the serial number on the CD. They sent me a link for the software. I noticed the serial number was off by one number. They assured me it was the correct driver for my camera. After 2 days of installing uninstalling and reinstalling the driver at Sakar's instance they finally told me to go up on their website to get the driver myself. I got the correct driver and loaded it however once I got an error code 19 "registry not complete or damaged". I called Sakar International immediately for help only to get the run around. When my computer shut down I lost my entire computer. The C: drive is not recognized anymore. I was assured they would send a technician to fix my computer and get it back to the way it was before the crash numerous times. They even told me the technician would be out that day and I actually waited only to be told to wait another 24 hours over and over again. I was told I would receive a phone call from someone only to be lied to again and again. I sent an email via their website and got a phone call from their software department and was told they would forward it up to the appropriate department. When I called back this person was unavailable. I have talked with supervisors and a floor manager who assured me it was going to be taken care of. When I call back and ask for them I'm told they're unavailable now and someone would call me back. It has been over 30 days and I haven't gotten any calls. I found out they have a F rating with the Better Business Bureau. I filed a complaint with them and so far Sakar hasn't responded to that complaint. I don't think they care. So here I am with a crashed laptop. Anyone who has had any problems with Sakar International should contact consumer affairs and FTC. I know if FTC get enough complaints they will take action against a company for fraud and bad business practices. I know that is my next step once BBB closes the case.
