OMGOSH, I AM SO GLAD I AM NO THE ONLY ONE . I JUST MADE I FOUR HUNDRED DOLLAR PAYMENT ON THE 24TH TO FIND OUT TODAY THE 27TH, THAT MY CARD WAS SUSPENDED ON THE 19TH OF THIS MONTH AND I WAS TOLD LATER A LETTER WAS SENT OUT ONTHE 20TH. I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY. THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME I'VE HAD ISSUES WITH THEM. A YEAR AGO, IN DECEMBER, I HAD AN ISSUE, ... I HAD MADE A FULL PAYMENT ON THE ACCOUNT WHEN DUE, WHEN I CALLED IN JANUARY, BECAUSE I HADN'T RECIEVED A BILL IN THE MAIL, THE RECORDING STATED I MY NEXT PAYMENT WAS DUE IN JANUARY.. SO I PRESSED "9" TO SPEAK WITH A REPRESENTATIVE WHO CONFIRMED THIS. WHILE IN FEBRUARY, I RECEIVED LATE CHARGES AND OVERAGE CHARGES BECAUSE I HAD NOT MADE MY PAYMENT IN JANUARY... FYI, IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW, WHEN YOU CALL THE 800 NUMBER YOU ARE CALLING TO INDIA, I FOUND OUT LATER, THAT YOU HAVE TO ASK TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE IN AMERICA... WHAT KIND OF COMPANY IS THAT?!!!... TODAY, I'VE PRETTY MUCH HAD IT WITH THIS COMPANY, I'M SEEKING LEGAL CONSENT. BECAUSE THIS IS TOTALLY RIDICULOUS AND B.S.!!!

I have had a Salute Visa card account for nearly a year and made all payments on time. When I went to pay off the credit amount for an out of state trip they screwed me over. I paid the account online since I wanted the account paid off before the trip. At the same time I paid another of my credit cards also online for the same reasons. When I inputed the information I made sure to put the bank account information in correctly and copied/ pasted the information from one website to the next. After a couple of weeks I tried to find out why my account had not been paid and miraculously I had made the mistake of inputting my bank account information.

Strangely the other credit card had no problem accessing my account to get the money to pay off the balance at the same time on that card. When I contacted Salute to find out what had happened not only were they rude they told me it was my fault entirely.

They canceled my card and then moved to immediately report my card account as unpaid. I have been making payments on this account since then to prevent this, but it is too late. This company does anything it it's power to prevent it's customers from paying off their debt. The company cannot keep charging it's customer outrageous interest rates if the customers do not have any debt on their account any more.

I want everyone out there to be made aware of this company and the fact that they will do anything to keep from having their customers clear their debt. Beware if you are looking into doing business with this company they may take advantage of you next!

after 4 month of oppening the salute credir card; the program was terminatate. it happen to be termenated after they charged me the 150$ yearly fee. I've always payed my bill on time and sometime way before due date. Salute raised my credit limits just so they can charge the 150$ yearly fee. So, i've googled the company's problem and i found out that they are under invetigation by the federal goverment for fraud. i'm very upset abd angry because i fowled Salute terms and conditions also their rules, but i was F...
