I purchased a 1, 700 sony flatscreen on Nov. 18, 2007. The warranty on the tv was for 1 yr. parts and labor including a one-time for lamp. 2 yr. for for parts. Sam's sold me an extended 2 yrs. sevice agreementh for 69.68 for parts and labor. Our tv went out last night (10-28-09) and it has not even been 2 yrs. I contacted Sam's warranty service, they say the extended warranty does not cover the lamp. I contacted They have a service person coming out on sat. to see if it is the lamp but it would cost 400.00 to have a new lamp put in. I would like Sam's to cover this cost as they are FALSE ADVERTISING their extended warranty. the sale person specifically said you want to buy this to cover all parts and labor and this is false sales. I would like an answer immediately. If they are covering the PROJECTION LAMP FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR AND IT GOES out 8 months after that this is not fair.
