Bad Customer Service
I went to Sam's Club and I wanted to see jewelry. I'm a asian-american and a Sam's Club member. The employee that showed me the jewelry had a stern face and her tone of voice was not really friendly. It seemed that she was racist. She didn't want to show two bangles that I want to look at. I mean I never experience anybody saying that to me at other department stores I don't see why I can't compare two bangles together. I feel that the lady employee thought I was going to steal it or dirty it because I was a asian! I was really disappointed at the customer service that this lady employee portray. I feel strongly that every employee has to treat customers equally no matter if its the color of skin or different nationalities!

Selling Online Auction items as new when they are refurbished with no warranty
I purchased a 50" New Philips plasma TV from Samsclub.com on their auction. I received it & upon turning it on, immediately noticed it was defective. (There was a 2" wide border along the entire left border of the screen which was vertical, multicolored lines) I called Philips & gave them the Model # of the TV. They said that since the model number ended in a "B", it meant that the TV was refurbished & that there was no warranty for it. It clearly states on samsclub.com auction that they only auction off NEW items in their original packaging & also states that items have a warranty on the page, before you bid on them. Sam's Club said the TV needs to be returned within 30 days for a refund. They will not repair it or replace it for another. BEWARE of their auction, as they are selling refurbished electronics as New without a warranty!! I have filed a complaint with the FTC regarding this

SERVICE
NANCY, CASHIER ASKED FOR ID. INSTEAD OF MATCHING UP THE INFO TO VERIFY THAT I COULD USE MY WIFE'S CARD. SHE WENT OFF TO ASK SOMEONE AND CAME BACK TELLING ME TO MAKE SURE IT IS THE LAST TIME. SHE COULD HAVE HANDLED THAT MORE POLITELY. THERE WERE OTHER PEOPLE IN THAT LINE. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED AN INCIDENT LIKE THAT BEFORE. I LEFT FEELING SLIGHTED. I FELT UNJUSTIFIABLY EMBARRASSED. SHE MADE IT SEEM LIKE I WAS WRONG TO USE MY WIFE'S CARD. SHE SHOULD HAVE VERIFIED THE INFORMATION, WHICH WOULD HAVE PROVED MY LEGITIMATE USE IF THE CARD. PERHAPS, SHE NEEDS ADDITIONAL EDUCATION IN HANDLING CARD USE.

donation and throwing food away
Sam's Club has just lost my business. We own a restaurant and Sam's Club supplied food to us. Last year we asked Sam's Club to Donate to us to help us feed 200 homeless people. This year we did the same. We were told last night that we were not selected to receive help this year. We do not ask for much either, a $25 gift certificate to thier store will buy alot in addition to our other suppliers. Also they throw out food daily. I have watched them throw it all out on a conveyor belt into a dumpster. I asked if we could have the food to take to local churches and homeless centers. They will not give that food to the needy because they are afraid of a lawsuit. Can't they take thier name off of the products and donate the food??? I did not realize there were so many homeless people until I started to feed them several times a year. It is so very sad to see them. I believe "If there is a will, there is a way" They could find a way to donate the food that will exclude them from any lawsuits...if they wanted to help. Wouldn't that be a baby step to helping the economy? Help them to start eating, who can then get stronger to get a job, then a home, and then spend money at stores!?!? Sam's is not the only ones that does this. All the big chains of grocery stores does. If anyone knows how we can help, let me know.

Awful place
The reps for the collectors are in Jamacia and you can not understand a word they say. They have called my home at least 2 times a day after being told several times of our circumstances. Sams Club and Walmart outsource their credit card to GE Money who outsources to Alliance One. THis is why so many Americans do not have jobs-so BOYCOTT SAMS CLUB AND WALMARTS. This has become a real hight mare for me and if I can, I want every one to stop shopping at the above referenced stores. And do not use a GE MONEY BANK card for anything.

32"Wide-Screen LCD TV/DVD Combo
I bought LCD 32" HDTV/DVD Combo for $999 08/06, plus paid for three-yr extended warranty. Almost three yrs. exactly the off/on sensor went out, then the picture went out. So what I have left is a 32" wide-screen RADIO!!! All I have is sound. Boy am I pissed. After more than half-dozen calls and the royal run-around the TV service they referred me to says the reokacement panel for my TV model is NO LONGER MADE!!! Inoticed Sam's no longer carrys that brand either. They know it is a substandard piece of electronic schlock!!! I'm still waiting since 9/15 for them to locate a part that is no longer made. NEVER SHOP AT WAL_MART or SAM'S EVER!!! My membership is up in October and I will no longer spend a dime with either business. Target is a better business anyway, at least they sell products made in the USA. And I will be returning to Costco FOR GOOD!!!

Tire Service
I special ordered tires from Sam's Club and was called late today and told I could have them put on as long as I showed up before 6:30. I made the special trip and when I arrived at the counter at 6:00 - the attendant told me they were "booked up" to the end of the night and that I would have to come back in the morning. Incredible inconvenience if you ask me - my free time is pratically nil working two jobs. The assistant store manager was totally useless (clearly not a take charge individual - no guts no glory) mumbling some weak, wimp a__ programmed, repeated and swiftly fading excuse of "our policy is first come - first serve" as I marched out of the store breathing fire. Well, Mr. Assistant store manager, I was first, first in ordering and first in paying for 4 expensive tires! Had I known what a useless bunch of hacks they had on board to "get the job done" and the poor store policy for getting the d___ things put on I would have definitely not purchased my tires there. Lesson learned - if you want good dependable service - go to a reputable tire dealer - the assurance of knowing you will be treated right without aggravation is worth every extra dollar you may have to pay.

Bad service
On 29 Nov 07, @ about 12:00 I went to Sams Club (5651 Holmes Ave. N.W., Huntsville AL) to pick up prescription (R.X.). On 02 Dec 07, in the a.m. I started feeling lethargic not soon after I got up in the a.m. so I went back to bed. When I got up later on that early afternoon my hands started to shake badly, I still felt lethargic, and started to have diarrhea. Later on that p.m., I asked my husband to look on the internet to see what the indications and side-affects of my medication were. He found that the medication (Metform) that I was taking was for a diabetic person (which Im not). Thats when I realized that Sams had given me someone elses R.X. instead of my antibiotic. So he then called the local poison control center and they told him to take me to the emergency room. I had just taken two of the prescribed pills, so I knew that it would be easy enough for me to purge them from my system my self (which I did). I called Sam�s the next a.m. (03 Dec 7) and explained to the pharmacy technician what had happened and she said that my R.X. was still waiting to be picked-up and that there would be a cost adjustment for the difference between the two different R.X.s I felt that there was an obvious nonchalant attitude for what just happened to me and realized (in hind sight) that when they gave me my R.X. they never checked my patient data information to make sure it belonged to me. So when I finally did get around to picking up R.X. at Sam�s (06 Dec 07) @ about 4:30 p.m., the technician recognized me and asked me if I had to go to the emergency room or anything. I responded no, I took care of it myself by purging the medication out my system myself and I guess Ill be alright. With that said, they didnt even apologize for what had happened or offered any sort of compensation for their mistake (that could have killed me). A few days later I called in another R.X. to them, and when I went to pick it up; they had lost it and made no attempt to fill it for me. I figure they just didnt want my business any more. They were very rude and unprofessional technicians working in that pharmacy. Im 51 y/o and have no allergies and consider myself to be very lucky that this incident was not fatal to me. My doctor told me I was lucky as well.

Scam and fraud
ON MAY 10TH 2008 I PURCHASED A WATCH FOR MOTHERS DAY.THE WATCH STATES WATER RESISTANT 30 METERS. AFTER BEING WORN ONLY ABOUT 4 TIMES MY WIFE WENT IN THE POOL 5ft DEEP.UPON EXITING WE NOTICED CONDENSATION IN WATCH AND IT WAS NO LONGER WORKING.

THE FOLLOWING DAY 6/15/2008 WE TOOK IT AND RECEIPT TO "SAM'S" CLUB FOR EXCHANGE OR REFUND.AFTER WAITING @ RETURN DESK FOR 10min WE WERE SENT TO JEWLERY COUNTER, AFTER WAITING FOR SERVICE AND NO ONE SHOWING SHE WAS PAGED AGAIN.NOW ANOTHER 10min A SOMEWHAT UNHAPPY REPRESENTATIVE APPEARED.TELLING HER PROBLEM SHE ASKED FOR BOX WATCH HAD COME IN ALONG WITH ALL OTHER ITEMS IN BOX SUCH AS USER MANUEL.I TOLD HER WE HAD ALREADY RED MANUEL AND DIDN'T NEED IT ANY LONGER SO ALL THAT HAD BEEN DISGARDED, I ALSO TOLD HER AT NO TIME DURING PURCHASE WERE WE TOLD TO KEEP "ALL" PRODUCT MATERIAL.AS TURNED TO WALK AWAY SHE TOLD ME RETURN POLICY IS ON WEBSITE AND I SHOULD HAVE READ IT.I SAID I DIDN'T BUY FROM ANY WEBSITE I BOUGHT IN STORE.SHE THEN TURNED & WALKED AWAY SAYING SHE IS GOING TO MANAGER AS SHE WALKED AWAY!SHE WAS THERE NO LONGER THAN 2min BORE LEAVING US @ COUNTER FOR ANOTHER 10min.

MANAGER WALKS UP TO US, DOES NOT OFFER US ANY RESOLUTION, OR EVEN ASK HOW SHE CAN HELP.SHE HAD ALREADY DETERMINED HER MODE OF ACTION, HANDED ME BACK WATCH & RECEIPT STATING SAME THING AS OTHER GIRL.I REPEATED MY SITUATION AND ALSO STATED HOW HER EMPOYEE HAD TOLD ME I SHOULD HAVE READ POLICY ON WEBSITE.SHE APPOLOGISED FOR THAT STATEMENT AND TOLD ME TO GO BACK HOME SEE WAHT I COULD FIND IF ANYTHING.IF I COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING SHE "MAY" BE ABLE TO OFFER STORE CREDIT.

THIS IS REDICULOUS, DOES SHE NOT KNOW PRICE OF GAS, IS HER TIME NOT VALUABLE TO HER, IS SHE REALLY ASKING ME TO DIG THROUGH TRASH CAN OUTSIDE @ OVER 100 DEGREES? FACT IS KNOWING IT OR NOT, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT SHE'S TELLING ME TO DO IF I WANT CREDIT! HELL NO, AND NOW I'M UPSET! I RUN A SERVICE BUSINESS AND NO WAY WOULD I HAVE MANY CUSTOMERS IF THIS IS WHAT I THOUGHT WAS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! I REMINDED THE THIS IS A MEMBERSHIP STORE, WE PAY TO KEEP PLACE GOING AND TO SHOP HERE.THEY SHOULD GO BEYOND RETAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND STRIVE TO MEET THE NEEEDS OF THEIR "MEMBERS".

WELL I WILL DO ALL THEY REQUIRE TO GET MY REFUND, AND WHEN I RETURN I WILL ALSO ASK FOR MY MEMBERSHIP TO BE CANCELED AND HOPE THEY HONOR POLICY THAT STATES "IF @ ANYTIME YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH SERVICE, FULL MEMBERSHIP FEE WILL BE RETURNED." WE'LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS MAYBE I'LL HAVE TO PASS SOME TIMED OBSTACLE COURSE OUT BACK AND GRAB MY MONEY FLYING AROUND IN WIND CHAMBER TO REALLY RECEIVE REFUND?

I'M GOING BACK TO "COSTCO" I NEVER HAD TROUBLE THERE AND WAS JUST GIVING "sam's club" A TRY.

They are racists
Sam's Club only wants to promote the white people if your black you get stuck with a small *** position. I know for a fact because I have worked with them fore 3 years, never received full time or never got promoted to a new position but every white person came in and got full time or promoted with in 3 months. They are very racist. White people come in and treat the black employees like *** and they accept it as if it’s fine. Word of advice don't support that racist *** Sam's Club they don’t deserve to even be open.
