My wife and I dealt with Sames-Crow Ford on a 2010 Ford F-150. We told them that we wanted to purchase the truck as co-borrowers. This was because we rely on each others income to pay our debts. The inability of one or the other to help with the payments due to death or disability would be disastrous. As such we asked for credit life and disability insurance for both of us so that we could protect our investment. During the lengthy session with the finance officer, it seems he neglected to include my wife in the credit life and disablility insurance. We did not note the discrepancy when we began signing papers. We were not given copies to go home with but were assured they would be mailed to us. Two weeks later we recived the copies and discovered the error. I called and spoke to the finance officer who apologized for his mistake but told me that it could not be undone. My wife and I are very upset at how we have been treated. He told me that if we needed to have the insurance we would have to buy it from some insurance agency as they could not help me. I will no longer do business with this company and advise others contemplating a purchase with Sames-Crow Ford to look elsewhere.
