Should Be Shut Down
Deserves to be shut down . I am just NOT renewing and expect most people won't. We don't get our value for the $40.00. The employees are fine, just the store is not great. Also, I notice the store is not busy alot either. Why make an extra trip? I'll just go to another store that has the sense to keep items in stock . Sam's Corporate Offices do not address issues. I have numerous times asked them to keep products that I reorder or need to be in stock. Even certain bread is not always in stock. And, except for the salad, alot of the produce is not even as good as Walmart. I have got some produce that was so awful I had to throw it away.

Worst service ever
I will be brief, in a nutshell, TV went dead, call Sams, make appointment, they cancel appointment, then, reinstate, then, service provides comes, take TV (Vizio 47) bought in NOV 2007. Provider states that I will have an answer on Monday. Monday comes and goes, Tuesday come and goes, Wednesday called... find out that nothing had been done. Tech "decides" to inspect/troubleshoot TV. Finds out main board is gone. Tech calls me (after I had a say about their level of service) and informs that part had been ordered via Sams. Call Sams to verify it... guess what?!?!?! they were clueless of the entire thing (that's because I called FIVE times to address the issue. Lady on the phone (talked as if she were almost dead... no "personality" keeps saying "we are going to call you back between 3 and 5 business days" Come on?!?!? This has been three weeks now. I had a feeling that it would be one of those "experiences". Please... do yourself a favor, NEVER buy extended protection plan from Sams Club. It is horrible and they do not care about you or your deffective product. It is a complete waste of money and if you have heart problems... please stay away... you can just have a heart attack with all the aggravation they put you through.

Children not safe
As of March 12, 2010 Sam's Club (walmart) will not respond to "Code Adam" at their store. Your children are not safe at Sam's Club. After an incident at store number 4824 in which the police arrived an hour after being called the store responded they are only there to protect their merchandise and not the customers regardless of age. The employees will stand and watch the criminals run right past them at the door. They also will not provide details of the perpetrators to the police unless subpenad.

I suggest everyone reading this go to Sam's Club and yell "Code Adam" and see what happens. It's not illegal to yell this as it's not illegal for Sam's Club to watch your kids be snatched apparently. Plus we now know the response time at Sam's Club Santa Clarita for the Sheriff to be about 60 minutes.

Please spread the word and don't let Sam's Club be a domicile for pedophiles and kidnappers.

not new
A few weeks back I went to the Sams Club in Goodlettsville Tn. I purchased a solar security light for use outside .Let me say I was very happy with the item so much so that I went back a few days later and purchased another one . When I bought the two lights I paid about 60 dollars plus tax per light . I had decided to just put the second light away and to use it if I felt I neede it . I decided about a month or so later that i would take it out and also use the second light. Well when I opened what I thought was an unopened box I found a light inside that had clearly been used it had finger smires all over the solar part and the light was broken screws taken off and laying inside the box with the bags that it was suppose to have been stuffed inside where someone had taped them to the box it had white paint on the wire where it looked as if someone had painted while they had it on what ever they had it on. Well needless to say I was very upset to think I trusted Sams to not resale something that someone or them selfs had used. At first I thought partly it was my fault because I should have checked it the day I bought it but then I told myself why should I have to worry about if the item I am buying is new When I purchase it SEALED IN A BOX CLEARLY FROM A STORE WHERE IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE NEW THEN I SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXPECT TO RECIEVE A NEW ITEM. I did not buy this from a second hand store . Well when I went back to the store the lady at the service desk said we dont sell this any more and all I can do is give you the last sale price which was 27.00 WELL SAMS WHEN I PAY 40 DOLLARS A YEAR FOR YOUR MEMBER SHIP THEN I TRUELY BELIEVE YOU LOOKED UP ON MY MEMBERSHIP AND SAW WHEN AND WHERE I BOUGHT THIS ITEM AND KNEW VERY WELL THAT I PAID 60.00 AND TAX FOR IT AND I AM ALMOST SURE YOU ALSO COULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TELL IF SOMEONE HAD RETURNED THIS LIGHT BEFORE I BOUGHT IT SO MAYBE I NEED TO RETHINK IF I WONT YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD NEXT YEAR MAYBE I SHOULD TRY ANOTHER WAREHOUSE GIANT. AND BUYER BE WARE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK EVERY THING YOU BUY BEFORE ITS TO LATE YOU CAN BET YOU I WILL CHECK MINE BEFORE I LEAVE THE STORES PARKING LOT. DONT SAY I DIDNT WORN YOU!!!

Scam
We purchased a laptop at a Sam's 2 1/2 hours from our house. When we purchased the laptop they guaranteed if there was anything wrong with the laptop it would be returnable to any location. When we arrived home we found it to be password protected. We called and they didn't have the password. We asked if we could bring the laptop in to see what they could do. They told us that no matter what they would not return the computer. We asked to speak to the store manager. She said that it was not cost effective to return electronics and hung-up on us. We called corporate and they were of no help besides being able to file a formal complaint.

Do not buy tires
Please do not purchase tires from Sam's Club. I had a flat tire and my husband put on the spare tire. I paid $546.00 for a set of tires. When he went to pickup my truck the spare was still on and the new tire in the rear of the truck. They refused to *** the spare saying it was against their policy. My husband came home and in the pouring rain put on the new tire. I called to complain. I was transferred 4 times. I spoke to the manager and he promised he would make it right but has never bothered to call me back. I do not understand why they would have such a policy. I will never buy tires from them again. I tell everyone that I can not to purchase tires from their company. I will say on their behalf that it is my fault I did not demand better service.

Harassment and extremely rude management
I have made two trips to the Sams Club in Albany Ga. after recently moving to the area. The inventory was a disappointment both times. The first visit was for a few supplies and to buy a new digital camera. The camera was out of stock...Ok. Today I went to pick up some supplies for Thanksgiving and a new laptop computer. Their were more employee's in the store than customers ! Twice I asked for information from store clerks, the first one looked and me..grunted and walked off ! The second one was so busy chatting with a co-worker ... she was annoyed I would bother her for information ! I make it through checkout.. and waited 15 minutes for a manager to fumble around and finally come to the conclusion that the laptop I had just paid $800.00 for...was not in stock. She said I could have the display model...I complained that I did not want something that had been on display and trashed by the public... I offered to take it ..if I got a reduction in the price. She looked at me like I was crazy and said I could take it or leave it... no discount !!! I got a refund...then after being delayed for 30 minutes, with FROZEN food in my shopping cart...thawing out... I proceed to leave...THEN the real insult comes... the dimwit door guard would not let me out the door without taking the sales ticket...NEVER one looking at it... she fumbles through my shopping cart...item by item, delaying me another 10 minutes !!! I took out my Sams Club card and handed it to her in disgust...almost telling her to stick it up her a@@ and swore... I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT in that disgusting establishment again..NEVER... I will drive the extra miles and go to COSTCO ...

Do not purchase jewelry there
I purchased a wedding band at Sam's Club 3 years ago and a diamond fell out. Their solution is for me to take it to a jeweler for repair. This conflicts with there online posted policies for returns. The customer service employees were rude, the store manger was rude, and their 800 number was rude and did not offer help. I have been a customer there since 2004 and spend thousands every year. But I have canceled my membership and will no longer purchase memberships as gifts as well. To sum it up, Sam's club lost $100k + (over a lifetime of purchases) by not following there own return policy.

No delivery of product
On 22 October I ordered Windows 7 from Sam's.com because it was cheaper than on the shelf item. On 4 November I was told the order was canceled by Sam's because they couldn't get it from vendor, it is no longer on the shelf at Sam's. It IS still on the shelf at WalMart. They wouldn't even offer a price match voucher to be used when it became available again.

I had NO TROUBLE ordering it from another Internet Merchant and getting it in 2 days.

I'll never buy anything from Sam's.com again.

product pricing
This store transferred a jewelry item for me (as they did not carry it) from another Sam's Club and insisted on charging MORE than what the item was selling for at the other Sam's. There was no reasoning with them that this was unfair practice, particularly since they don't even have the product. They say they'll price match the competitor but they cannot even be fair with their own pricing. Sam's club cheats their customers.
