Great TV until the picture went blank after just 18 months. The audio continued but I would have gotten a better discreption of the ballgame on radio. Of course it was out of warranty and I did not buy the extended coverage offered by Best Buy due to the high cost. I contacted Samsung and they required a copy of my receipt which I faxed them the same day to a number in Texas, and they promised to call me upon receipt of it. It has been 3 weeks and I have not heard from them, so I called them again and of course they have no record of receiving it. However, if I will fax again to someone in New Jersey the will promptly contact me. Enough of this, so I took it to my guy locally who immediately identified the problem and called Samsung for a part, but guess what, they will not sell it to him because he is not an authorized dealed. Can you believe it! Not only am I getting screwed on the $2, 000.00 plus that I paid for the TV, now they want to screw me on getting it repaired on my own. Needless to day - I WILL NEVER HAVE ANOTHER SAMSUNG ANYTHING AGAIN EVEN IT THERE GIVING THE DAMN THINGS AWAY!
