FAULTY/ PATHETIC SERVICE
Hello!

I have bough a samung split air con on 4th Nov, 2008 from Jainsons- Anna nagar-chennai.
Just few months after the installation i have been facing problems from the A/C and have made numerous calls to samsung ccustomer care. Everytime samsung sends a service engineer, the person comes collects service charges, does some wiring here and there and confirms that no problem would come but only to my bad luck that every 31 days samsung Aircon gives problems and very smartly they come and collect charges again. Tried speaking to their superiors, but no one comes online and disconnect on our face. The service engineers comes and asks personal money to repair along with the Samsung co. charges. I have paid so much of money already in this Aircon and i dont understand where am i going to bring so much money every month to repair this A/c. Filled up the gas last month and now again the cooling goes of and all samsung ppl have to say is we shall send a person tom and you will have to pay the service charges and any other charges as per engineers inspection. What is this co. Money minting machine has been installed in my home. The worst service and air conditioner. I have lost my faith and patience. Its very hard to earn money these days and very easy to shed it on a 21k worth Air con and by now its already 27k-huh.

No help and no solution seems to be coming and i strongly suspect of being given a defective aircon. No electronic will give so much of problem every month by month and samsung customer care has just to say that we will send our person!

Please help me get justice from this money shedding Air conditioner.

Pathetic After Sale service
This is in regards to my Samsung Airconditioner which I bought two years back. Suddenly it stopped working & I called up Samsung Customer Care # 30308282 & lodged a complaint on 1st April, 2010. I was given a complaint # 8401525145 and as promised that an Engineer will visit my place within 24 hours.

Till 3rd April, I didn't receive any call from them & I again called the customer care number & was given a service center # 01127180002 as they are the ones who send Engineers. When I called there, person by name of Sumit from Wazirpur told me that ''people at customer care call center are bunch of jokers & don't know what kind of work pressure they (Service Center people ) are going through''. He said that there is no way my complaint can be addressed on 3rd April.

I agin called up customer care & was promised that it will be escalated & they'll call back. I got a call & was promised that it an Engineer will visit my place at 11:00 AM of 4th April. When no body turned up till 12:00 pm, I again called up the service center number to enquire that by what time an Engineer will come. I got a shocking statement that there was no call made to me from Samsung & there is no way an Engineer can come before Tuesday, 6th April.

I again called up customer care & spoke with a supervisor by name of Karan & he put me on hold to enquire about the same. He assured me that I will get a call back in 30 minutes & my issue will be resolved today itself. But now it is more than 1 hour & no one has called me or visited my place.

My point is that a big brand like Samsung can do such cheap stuff then how can we trust the rest of the brands in market. People from same organisation pass loose remarks for their own colleagues & make false promises. One hand of such a big brand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. When we buy products we get promises that the after sale service will be best etc. but when it comes to keeping those promises, brands like Samsung do such cheap stuff.

I have 3 airconditioners at my home from Samsung & have received a great mental harrassment & false promises that I will never buy any Samsung Product & will also make sure that no one from my near ones buy any Samsung product in future.

no cooloing effect
Samsung Bio sleep air conditioner purchased during May 2009. Service people nerver came for check up. poor service after sales
i have purchased a split air conditioner 2.00 ton last year from ur local dealer. and after some time it starts giving some problem, i informed u and that time it got repaired as there was the gas leakage problem..but now from last 1 month this problem occurs again and again i informed my local service center, but there was no response from that side.Then i ask ur dealer for same but no response.At last i got ur costumer care no.i.e.18001100110 and i called them and they gave my compliant no 8405928456 but again nothing done..then after some days i again called them and ur executive commited me that it will be done today only but again there was no response. Now I would like to request u to remove the problem occured in my ac othrvse i"ii be enforced to knock the door of court.

Worst air conditioners
This is to bring to your notice, a very bad experience in terms of the product as well as the customer service at Samsung.

The company has purchased 5 (1.5 ton) A/c from reputed dealer "SONY MONY" in Month of January 2007in Andheri (W) (W). Since the month of April we have been experiencing a lot of problems with the A/C and the after sales service

1) Inspite of being in warranty period, the A/C was practically not functional with no cooling at all

2) Repeated attempts to contact the Samsung - Customer Service (which is of no use) to Mr. Mathew- the head of SONY MONY (andheri)(W) that have been unsuccessful with they not responding to the complaints, disconnecting the calls on repeated attempts to contact them and sending their service personnel across.

3) The persons send by service centre were not able to give any concrete reasons as to why the A/c's are not functioning, thus seems that an inefficient staff is employed, ultimately our company has to waste its time and energy at office hours. Seems it was our wrong decision to purchase SAMSUNG a/c.

4) Even after putting the A/c for repairing to SAMSUNG service centre, its of no use.

After all such possible attempts to repair my A/c, I have lodged my complaint here, and now if there is no response (I want my A/C to work properly) within 2 to 3 days I am forced to bring this picture in media and also to take legal action against everybody.

Air conditioner not working properly
I have purchased my Samsung 1.5 Ton Window Air conditioner from M/s Ashoka sales Sector 16 Faridabad arox. One month back. Since yesterday I am facing Problem - when I switch on AC from mains - Normally it goes to STANDBY First. When I Press StandBy Button On Remote or Front Panel Its switch ON. But what is happening NOW - When I switch ON AC From Mains Automatically I get Two Characters on AC Front Panel - " Ch #. This seems to be some ERROR occurring due to some Malfunctioning in Controller Section or any SEGMENT in the Display have gone BAD.

AC is also behaving ERRATIC while in SWING MODE or E-SAVER Mode.

Faulty compressor
I purchased a samsung air conditioner on 24th of april, form the day it has been installed it never cools below 29 degrees , so i made a complained the next day it was installed that is on 27th but the service people came only by 6th june and found that the compressor is faulty and they went, they never repaired it, they said that some other service people will come to repair it but no one turned out.

Gas leakage, no cooling
I purchased an AC -7 months back and to my utter shock i realized that there is no cooling. I was told that due to Gas leakage it has stopped cooling and hence i wish to advice all not to go for any Samsung product.

Do not cool properly!
A copy of email to Samsung:

I bought a Samsung made Air conditioner Model AWT 18QBHDC from Goodwill Enterprises, Naya Bazar, Sunam on April 13, 2006 vide Invoice No. 1992. The A.C. did not give out proper cooling from the very first day and I reported it to the dealer. He sent his local mechanic and, also company mechanic from Patiala, both of whom assured me that the cooling emitted by the A.C. was enough and that did not feel it because of the little quantity of moisture in the air. A third company mechanic from Sangrur, however agreed with me and said that the pipes giving out cooling were closed. The next day, the said mechanic come to my house in my absence and broke open the concerned pipes, did the needful and sealed them again. But still the problem is unsolved and Rs 16,000 + Rs.2,000 (Stabilizer) seem to have been thrown in a waste basket. May I hope that your goodself would look in the matter and order the dealer for an immediate replacement of the A.C.?

Information is already sent to the company by fax on 15/08/2006 and by registered post on above given address on 28.08.2006 but no response received as yet.
