Awful CSR service
Last November 2010 (Thanksgiving) I bought a Samsung PL100 because of the fron LCD feature. I never used it until my 1 week Holiday trip in Christmas. Within the trip, I noticed that dead pixels were starting to show on my screen.

As soon as I came back home, called Samsung and sent the product for repair. By the end of the week, I was told that the Camera had Physical Damage to it and warranty will not cover it. To fix the camera would be the same cost of how much I bought it.

I refuse to agree with what they are saying Physical Damage. The camera is pretty much new. Was not even 3 mos old nor 2 months. it was barely a month old and barely used. How can you say that. No ding, scratch or anything. I was even being charged shipping to return the camera to me.

Talk about BS right ? I called Samsung to complain about the issue.

They keep saying I will have to pass this to Tier 2 and from Tier 2 to Tier 3 as we cannot make decision. They also said a Tier 3 will call me back but they never din . On the 2nd month of the complain yes.. 2months this is not a murder investigation . It's a freaking camera.. Nobody called me back and to think I call twice a week to follow things up but they said we will put a note we will put a note. I even ask .. where does the note go ?? seriously ? how much notes do we need to put for someone to call me back?

Today I finally had it. They are not saying I put too much pressure on my camera. What does that even mean ? I said I want to write to your headquarters. I want names. Sorry we do not have that information. Check our website?

Seriously ? We do you get this people ? and your training ? Man, was it a standard, I am very sorry and I understand what you are saying in a monotone voice?

If someone can help me by giving me information where can I write, call, or to complain, I would appreciate it.

Samsung does not standy by their product. It is guaranteed by my experience. They do not even give their customers the benefit of the doubt. This is pretty much a disposable camera. A very expensive disposable camera. I stand by my word when I said from this day on as long as I live, I will continue to spread to the world my experience and I will stop people from buying any Samsung products. It is not worth it.

Please give me any information on how to reach the people in Samsung

poor quality - LCD
In January this year my Samsung LCD stopped working. The tv is out of warranty and now Samsung wants me to purchase a new tv from them yet I am still paying for one that is gone in for repairs. This is an injustice as I spent R7000 on that tv and paid with my credit card. I trusted in the brand to last me more than two years and now I am stuck with a tv that doesnt work. If I reject the quote to fix they are going to bill me R500 which I don't have. I left two complaints on HelloPeter and still no one has bothered to contact me. I am utterly disgusted and will never purchase Samsung ever again. It's a different case if I was wealthy I could just toss the old one in the bin and get a new one, but I worked hard to buy that tv especially since it was the first one I ever bought on my own when I moved away from my parents and I am still paying for it. ... Don't stand behind their products
I spent over $3000.00 on Samsungs DLP tv and after using my warranty 4 times it ran out! Surprise Surprise, it's over heating and turning off now. I have replaced the bulb ($100.) the fan ($35.) and now learn thats it's more than likely the DM chip ($600.) Really? Really? Samsung will not stand behind this lemon of a product and have lost a very good customer, not that they care, because there are thousnads of us who are pissed comsumers and they refuse to give us the time of day!

We will never buy another product from them
We bought a new Samsung dryer. Whenever we try to dry sheets it ballsthem up in a little ball, they won't dry. We have to pull them out 3/4 times and put them back in to get them dry. After several calls they sent out a service guy who did not even start the dryer but told us there was nothing he could do. Best Buy refuses to do anything. Today we talked to ^Executive Customer Relations at Samsung who tried to tell us all the new dryers do this. We have friends with new dryers of others that do not do this. We will never buy another Samsung product or set foot in a Best Buy store again.

Don't buy
I purchased a Samsung television roughly 2 yrs ago only to begin having problems with it 6 months ago as the pixels began popping up one by one. A call to Samsung only yeilded 'Im sorry sir - there is nothing we can do' for our wrranty is only for a year. How convenient!! I find it inconceivable that a company to which one pays $1000 for one of their products would not stand by it especially in light of the fact that so many other consumers seem to be having problems with their televisions. Moral of the story - DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG unless you like throwing your money away!

Worst customer service in the world
If I can get at least 10 people to not buy a Samsung product, then I'll be happy. First off, Samsung's customer service is the worst in the world. Try and talk to someone. Really, go and try. You can't do it. It's impossible. You will be routed around their lame voice messaging system until you give up in frustration. Then try and email a complaint to them. Also impossible. The system just doesn't allow it.

Here's my story. I order 3 (boy was I ***) bluetooth headphones. Limit 3 per household, and all that. Each came with a rebate. I received one, was told the second couldn't be filled and no one knows what happened to the third. Rebates are only handled by robot. Thus, if you every expect to receive a rebate, I suggest you get religion and pray. That will work better that Samsung's customer support.

You can try live chat, but as with prays, the answer is sometime no. In the case of Samsung it seems 2 out of 3 times the answer is no.

About the month back they took my washing machine for service and yet not return the reason they give parts not available. When i visited there Nariana New Delhi Office despite of appointment there service mngr was available in office and not meet me.I speek to one of there Officials Mr Kalam Singh mkt Mgr in delhi or RM in delhi he is not pick the phone.and on eof there Official Mr Karan sobti ( RM) transfer his mobile no to another number. But no reply so far as come to me and we are suffering without our fault.

Avoid at all costs
I logged the complaint regarding my washing machine 21 June 2009 and the costomer service person came and he told not possible to repair and he want to take it to service. after 15 days they took to it for service. After that no update about my washing machine. So I called to customer care and ask the status of My complaint "8405772432" but they told Devendra will be contact regarding the same. I dint get any call from them again I followed up then they did conference with devendra. He said its not possible to repair the Washing Machine we will raise the complaint to replace the Washing Machine and he will be sending Engineer to collect the sales bill and invoice. But after his word till almost 20 days no one is came for collecting the bill and no status at all. I am keep on calling to Customer care number and asking status. They are telling me to Mr. Devendra will be contacting me to for the same...

I have had a very bad experience while trying to resolve the problems with my refrigerator. The first (unresolved) complaint i had logged was on 14-feb-2009. The door of my refrigerator is developing small dents. Mr Sriharsha from samsung came down to inspect, accepted that its a genuine problem and he would replace the door in another 2 months time (max). This is still not done. I have been following up with his boss who is Mr. Vilas. Mr. Sriharsha has reported to Mr. Vilas that its the customers fault and they are not at fault.!! Amazing?? After this, i am repeatedly trying to call up Mr. Vilas but he is not responding to my calls. He also said that the door needs to be replaced and he is expected a new door from gurgaon factory, and this he said before a month!! Still no results.

Second, the refrigerator stopped cooling on its own. I logged a complaint and the service person turned up after 4 days and said that some fuse was not working and he replaced the same. He also set the temperature of the freezer and the lower compartment to the "recommended settings" from the company. Fine. I have the invoice no if required.

Third, now after this, my froast free refrigerator is building up ICE in the freezer compartment. Has anyone heard of a froat free refrigerator building up ICE?? All these in just 8 months of purchase.

I am just fed up of Samsung. I have spend a hefty 22k from my pocket to get this quality of refrigerator and service? The samsung guys care hell for the after sales service. Mr. Sriharsha was such a soft spoken guy and reassured us that the door would be replaced. I thought he is a genuine person but, very dissappointing approach.

Fraud alert
Samsung is the most worthless company that ever dared to call themselves a manufacturer. They claim to have a 2-3 year warranty on their HDD's. When you call in for service, you stay on hold & then get no actual help. IF you get any information, you are referred to a webpage to submit for an RMA... Then the webpage doesn't work on any computer using any browser... After you get absolutely fed up & start threatening lives (process been going on for a month), you get an email stating that their 3 year warranty is someone elses responsibility... My recommendation, buy your HDD's from Seagate...
