I have purchased a Samsung Pro GT-B7510 from Mumbai.
To my surprise I found many issues in my mobile one of them was the mobile getting discharged in just one day (Claims of 600 + hrs on standby mode).
I called up the help desk and was told that I need to do a charging of the mobile for at least four hours keeping the mobile in the off state. But it did not work. Then I was guided to the customer care center to look after issues. I dropped my mobile at the service center on 26th of June and got it back only on 12th of June.
At the service center I was told that the software needs to be re loaded. I fail to understand that if I am not using any internet feature how came the software gets corrupted.
Two days later when I called I was told that my hand set is ready. But then I got another call stating that the other issue which I had told has been found and the motherboard needs to be changed.
I was a shock to me a mobile take just a month back needs the motherboard changed.
WHAT KIND OF QUALITY CHECK IS BEING PERFORMED ON THE HAND SET BEFORE MAKING IT READY TO BE SOLD IN THE MARKET.
IF I PURCHASE SOMETHING FROM THE MARKET WHICH IS UNDER WARANTY AND JUST A MONTH OLD I EXPECT MY HAND SET REPLACED INSTEAD OF THE MOTHERBOARD AND THE BATTERY GETTING CHANGED. AS PER ME A MOTHERBOARD CHANGED MEANS THAT THERE IS A BIG ISSUE WITH THE HANDSET ITSELF.
I wrote to there support team who were prompt to respond but after listening to my query they were just satisfied that the customer has got his mobile back. My other queries have not been answered. I have sent at least three reminders. I expect a new hand set be given to me rather then changing everything from the mobile except the outer cover.
