My husband bought me a purple Samsung Mp3 player for Mother's Day 2007 and paid about 130.00 for it. It didn't work right from day one and I kept thinking it was something I was doing wrong, as it was my first one. Finally, in October 2007 I was fed up and called tech support. To make a long story short, after 3 calls to them and every time they "fixed" the problem and it would happen again or something new would happen, one grouchy guy finally told me to send it in to an address with a transaction number he provided and they would replace it.
About 2 weeks later, I got an email that stated "Your unit is being repaired."
I called the 800 number provided because I was told the unit would be replaced. When I finally got someone, his name was Rick and he said he was a Supervisor. He also said their policy was to repair first then replace, which really made me mad because I don't think there is any repairing of this particular unit which had so many problems. Then he estimated it would be Monday 14th before the work was competed and the unit was sent back to me.
It has just been a bad experience all the way around and I wished I had listened to my friend when she tried to tell me not to buy a Samsung product!!
