samsung cara GT-s5600
i bought a samsung cara touch screen a year ago, i hav a 2 year manifacturers warrenty, my phone internily works fine, but i am unable to send or recieve calls or texts. this problem is not the fault of my network, signal strengnth, sim card or damage to the phone, it has never been droped or had water or any other mineral spill on it as was asked by the samsung customer service team... i contacted the costomer services at samsung 7 weeks ago... they assured me that they would have a package sent to my home address from fonemenders, that i was to send the phone, along with the battery and a copy of the reciept to phonemenders in the pree paid package that they would send me and would have it back to me in 10 working days, they costomer service was rediculas, it cost me 18 euro the first time i spoke to them as the lady i was speeking to had very poor english and had to spell most words for her to understand what i was saying and visa versa.. and 3 weeks later i still didnt recieve the package, so i rang them back to find out how long more would i be waiting and was told that the account number i was giving them was wrong and that i must be mistaken... this time, i asked to be rang back and when she did ring back she apoligised greatly and said she had found my account and another package would be sent... (again english was very broken and poor, very hard to understand) ... 3 weeks again i waited on this package and still there was no sign of it.. i rang again and demanded to speek to somone compitant enough to deal with my account and the man i was speeking to asked me could he chek my account and "get to the bottom of what the problem was", and if he couldnt figure out what the problem was he would involve his manager, he seemed compitant and spoke fluent english, when he contacted me he asked me to confirm my address and apparently there was a spelling mistake in my address that one of the non-fluent english speekers made while taking my address even tho every word of my address was spelled very slowley and very clearly letter for letter in the way of (a for alpha... b for ball) and still there was a mistake made... he assured me he had rectified this problem and that there would be a package sent out as fast as possible and would be with me, if not the next day then the next working day.. he couldnt appoligise enough as i had been 6 weeks without my phone... i felt confident that the issue had been delt with, a week later, still no package.. what am i to do? i rang again today and was given a name of the person who was over the complaints but yet i couldnt get a contact number or an e-mail address for this person.. its absolutly rediculas...im lost as to were to go from here

Samsung Galaxy Europa
Bought the Samsung Galaxy Europa Mobile in good faith and cannot text with it, there seems to be a software problem and the company know about this. So instead of replacing or refunding my money Samsung prefer to leave me with a phone which does not work, until they sort out the software problem and they cant advise when that will be either. I have had no help whatsoever from Samsung's customer service or complaints department they tell me; its really my problem and I will have to wait until they can find a solution. I am so unhappy that they have sold me a product that is not fit for purpose and they dont want to do anything about it!!!

Consider spares before you purchase
So you decide it's time to buy a new refrigerator, go down to your local supplier and look at what is available. Different brands all offering similar value for money, so, do you buy on look, feel, brand name or salesman's promise. I unfortunately chose incorrectly, I went for a brand which I thought would be good, SAMSUNG, NOT.
Having Teenage children, something is bound to happen, so yes, a shelf in the freezer broke. Ok, probably not the most common part to break but something, being made out of glass, you imagine it could happen.
After battling for days to get through to the service centre parts division, I'm given the number of ScreenVision the 'official' spares supplier for Samsung, I call in, order my part, pay my money and then am told, sorry no stock about 2 - 4 weeks on back order. Being the beginning of December, I think fair enough.
We now sit mid April and no part, O yes, Samsung will gladly pay me a depreciated value for the fridge and take it back.
So yes, I spend R 18 500 on a fridge and now a six year old fridge has to be 'traded' because Samsung are not willing to import a R 150 shelf.
Last Samsung product I will ever buy!

My unit stopped communicating with my wireless router. The unit network self test would not return a MAC address from the internal wireless modem. I sent the unit in for repair on 1/15. I got it back 2/1. It still failed the internal wireless network test and would not talk to my router. I have had to send it back. Please make sure that a complaint is logged with Samsung management and that my unit is properly repaired or replaced this time. The two repair ticket numbers are: 4007766263 and 4007846331

Mobile phone battery
Went to the Mobile phone section where there's the help desk and asked the sales man a simple question where can I get a samsung battery for my phone i have purchased from asda about 6 months ago as the battery has gone. He replied I don't know .I said can you check for me he said no we can't help so I said what are you saying you sell phones and don't have spare batteries for them or at least tell me where i can get a spare one im shure im not the first customer to ask that question he just looked at the customer next to me and was shaking his head ? He told me I was being abusive toward him .is that the way they should treat customers ?

Bad products and service
My sister had an Mp3 player from Samsung. Half a year later, it started to act weird. It froze, and the touch screen stopped working. We tried to email, call, and chat with a representative online. No one helped. We still have not had any progress with them.

Samsung is providing products that do not work
My phone is a S8300, lovely phone except for one thing, it does not have software which works with windows 7. In fact Inno Nthangeni told me this morning that no Samsung phone works with windows 7! I cannot use the phone as advertised ( ie that i will be able to download pictures, connect my laptop to the internet, upload data to my phone etc).
It is now basically just a phone and not something valued at R 8000, Inno also told me that I would have to downgrade my laptop to Windows XP or Vista to use the phone ( both licenses costing in the R 1000's) or purchase a bluetooth dongle in order to use the phone properly. The fact that the software provided does not work is not my problem. I do not want to downgrade in order to use the phone as I should be able to and if the only way it works is with a blue tooth dongle then Samsung should provide the dongle and concisely state that their product does not work with Windows 7 or that it will not work without the dongle. Neither of these things were specified and I feel Samsung is responsible for this.
