Fault In Television
Hello Samsung

I am not your regular customer but by wrongly i have to purchased a Television on July 2009 from Samsung Distributors in Delhi. I want to thankful to you that i realize the actual meaning of customer. There is some technical problem in that Television. I also sent my Television to customer care centre 3 to 4 times but there is no progress in my compliant. Now the warranty of the product has been expired but the problem is as same as earlier. So, i want to ask you that whats my fault in that. I think my fault is that i have to purchased your product. I want to say thank to you that you reliaze me that in future dont purchase your any product & dont beleive in your services.

WARRENTY IS THERE,BUT NOT GIVING SERVICE
Dear sir/mam,
This is to inform u that myself Suphal kanti sarma from AGARTALA TRIPURA state...I have taken a TFT 15 inch on july2007, on 18th sept 2008 (Claim No. 373) claim for pannel and i got it after 4 months. At that time also disply distarbed I told to agartala service centre But they told whenever its totally damage come back to them.
On 24th jun 2010 display totally gone and that i handover to agartala service centre RAFCO. they told will response me within week, after 15days i call to customer care complain no 8408584468 told me will reply sooon. 10 – 15 days back Rafco told the TFT(HA15HHBP409133T) out of warrenty. I have purchase from PRIYA INFOTECH they told it has three yrs warrenty. all TFT having three yrs warrenty. now u r telling two yrs.
I want to know SAMSUNG as multinational company one TFT within three yrs two times pannel damaged how is it possible. I have lost 4 Months in 2008 whne i have given for repair. why they r not counting that four months. where its written 2yrs wrrenty? If 17 inch having Three yrs warrenty period why not in 15inch. only size is different.The materials is also same na..isnt it?

As per distributors concern they told it has three yrs warrenty. But SAMSUNG CUSTOMER CARE told it has two yrs warrenty.
Before inform you I inform them but they are not responding to me.
I am a self employee. Without computer I cant earn. So I am requesting you plz do needful as soon as possible.
I am attaching below what ever conversation done with Samsung customer care. Plz read the file.

For over a year now I have been getting calls about being selected for a new cell phone...NO ONE listens!! I am not interested!!! I upgraded once about 3 years ago and that was a HUGE mistake! My sister and I got 2 samsung phones only because I was told that the company was no longer going to carry the Solos which we really liked. Anyway we followed through with the suggestion of the samsung and we hated them from day one!
We don't do anything with our phones just making sure they are charged and carry them in case of emergency or to let work or home know if we are running late.
All this started long ago only because I REFUSED to give the person on the phone my sin#. Then it seems I am now forever getting calls even after telling them to stop harrassing me over this. I have been with your compamy since I was 19 and I am now 59 so that is a long time and things still can change. I mean C'MON!!! When you call you know all my information and ask me to verify it so if you already have that info I know I have given you my sin# so WHY do you keep asking for it telling me the order can not be approved without it WELL I'M NOT GIVING IT TO YOU AGAIN SO STOP BOTHERING ME AND IF IT DOES CONTINUE I WILL GO TO A DIFFERENT CARRIER!!

It has been almost 2 weeks since my last call and i am yet to receive my refund
At the offset, I thoroughly regret buying a Samsung Washing Machine. I bought it in April 2008 and from day 1, it has had some problem or the other, the latest of my woes being a water leakage, which has not yet been resolved since Nov. 09. Here is the history of THIS complaint since Nov 2009.

Nov. 2009 - I complained to the customer care that there is a water leakage problem and it was in warranty period. They told me they will send a service engg. But he did not come till my repeated calls and finally the engineer came after 20 days of repeated calling, somewhere in the 1st week of Dec. He found me that the leakage is from the Water Dispenser and he told he is not the correct person to fix it and this complaint has to be fixed by a person from the Work Shop, who were expected to attend asap. So the call was transferred to the Work Shop.

Dec 2009 - After another few days of calling the Work Shop, a person from the Work Shop finally arrived. The best possible solution they could offer then was to seal the leak with a adhesive (which even i could have done). I asked them to replace it immediately as i was sure this will not hold for long. But he refused by saying that the dispenser is currently out of stock, so as a temporary measure, we will fix it like this and we will order for a new water dispenser and after we recieve it, we will replace it.

Jan - 2010 - But within a week of the fixing, the water leakage started again. I complained again. After another 3 weeks of haggling and follow up from ONLY MY SIDE, they came at last. They finally made a decision that the machine has to be taken to the Work Shop and it will be fixed within a week. They took the machine for 5 days. Even then, i told them to replace the dispenser, but the response was the same - THE DISPENSER IS CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK." Finally after 5 days they returned the machine in the first week of Feb. 2010. This time, i had followed up with Mr. Ahamed, who is the Regional Service Head and i requested him to personally look into this. He assured me of a good service this time and it will not repeat again. I again asked him for a a new Water Dispenser, but he again told me what the others told - No stock available now, we have placed an order for the replacement and he will replace it after the stock arrives. Finally i got the machine without any leakage in the first week of February 2010. But my happiness did not last long.

April / May 2010 - In just 45 days after the previous service, the leakage started again and this time, the volume of leakage was very high. I again complained to the customer care and also to Mr. Ahamed and Mr. Rajagopal. But, this time they gave me a wonderful response which no one would have ever heard. They told me that the water pressure in my home is very high and so the fix which they provided is not holding. I LIVE IN A SINGLE STOREYED INDEPENDENT HOUSE and i told them there is absolutely no possibility of such a thing ever existing. I complained in the start of april and they never attended till end of april. This time again they took it to the Work Shop. I again asked Mr. Ahamed to take it up personally - the same old promises were made, only this time he assured me that if it does leak ever again i will have the washing machine replaced. They took the machine again for a week. I asked them to test it well before delivery. They told me all that it is fine and the problem will never reccur.

- One can clearly see the kind of service which they have done in the manner of their delivery. They delivered the washing machine in my place AT 10.30 p.m and i was not even able to check it properly then as the mechanic who came was in a hurry ot leave. Apart from this, they had removed the bottom sheild for a service it seems and the same came off its place right at my door step. On examination, they had not screwed it properly, in which 2 bolts were missing. The Engineer took some screw from his kit, which was not the right fit for the machine and tried to screw it. The worst part was - INSTEAD OF USING A WASHER FOR FIXING IT, HE USED A CARDBOARD PEICE AS A WASHER AND SCREWED IT. And more annoying was that 2 of the bushes in the stand were damaged. I got annoyed to the core on seeing this. He told me as it is late night, i will do a temporary fix in this manned and i will come in the morning and replace the bush and fix the bottom sheild, but never returned again. I called up Mr. Ahamed in the morning and informed him about the irregularities in the service and delivery and he assured me he will look into this. ( I can tell you that Samsung is one place where promises are never kept, expecially when it is regarding service ).

The fix they provided this time again did not hold for more than 10 days and this time again the quantum of leakage was very high. I again informed to Mr. Ahamed and asked him about the promise he gave me last time about the replacement. He told me he will discuss it with his seniors and get back. I called him up after 2 weeks and he told me he has arranged for a replacement and get back soon. Finally, after several calls from my side and none from Samsung / Ahamed, on 5th July Ahamed informed me that the washing machine itself is currently out of production and so he will arrange for a refund of my money within the next 20 days. On July 20, (if i am not wrong, it is definetely around that date), a service representative came and collected all the required documents from my side and assured me that i will get the refund cheque within the next 3 days, but in vain AGAIN. I called up Mr. Ahamed again for the nth time in the first week of August regarding the refund. He told me that the relevant papers have been sent to the HO and they are pending there and he was not responsible as he cannot do anything for that. The way he responded was in a very lethargic manner as if he is not concerned about it. As he responded me in a very careless manner, i asked him for the person incharge of this in the HO, who was Mr. Prakash. I got his number and called him up and on purpose i patched up Ahamed and had a conference call to get what is the current status. Prakash told me that the same is in process as so many refunds are also pending before mine. He told me that it will be resolved within the next 10 days and i will get my refund cheque by within the next 10 days.

It has been almost 2 weeks since my last call and i am yet to receive my refund. And my latest call attempt to reach Ahamed is futile and he does not attend my calls anymore.

I strongly advise all the potential customer to be careful before purchasing any product from Samsung
A Samung TV (LCD 32” LA32C530F1, Chasis No. 2025) was purchased from the dealer Rahul Electronics (SV road Goregaon West) on 15th June 2010. The full money was paid on 15th June 2010. The TV was delivered to our residence on 16th June 2010. The Samsung representative was to install the TV on 16th as per the dealer. After much follow-up, the representative came to our residence on 17th of June 2010 and opened the packed and sealed carton. To our utter dismay, the TV was an already used piece with no stand. This was observed by the Samsung rep and by us. Immediately a phone was placed to the dealer about the issue. The dealer blamed Samsung for having providing us a used piece and said that it could be replaced only the next day. The next day, 18th June 2010 a personal visit to the dealer did not help. All the blame was on Samsung and yet no TV for us!

Today, I contacted Samsung toll free number on the carton. 1800 110011. The representative said this is a dealer issue and you go to the dealer. After much argument, she provided me with the Kurla branch office number and a name “Prachi” to speak to. I spoke to her. She asked me to speak to the Sales department at Vile parle. So i am being passed from one to another – all pointing fingers at each other and NO RESOLUTION!!
What am i to make of it? But for being cheated! The money is paid for a used product? Dealer is blaming Samsung and Samsung is passing the buck. And i have lost the money with no TV!!!

Looking in the rear view mirror, I wonder why did i choose Samsung as a brand when there are so many good products in the market... i think it was because of trust that is attached to the name... but is NO MORE. With this experience, i cannot trust the company or its dealer any more!!

I strongly advise all the potential customer to be careful before purchasing any product from Samsung as you could be tossed around and your money is eaten by the Company and the representatives.

DO NOT go to Rahul Electronics AT ALL... they are in the business of cheating people. I have now heard from more people that similar situations have happened with them as well.

I am facing the issues with the TV image clarity, its getting greener
I have purchased the Samsung LCD TV 32" in Oct 2007. Warranty period is one year. Now I am facing the issues with the TV image clarity, its getting greener. I have raised the complaint with the Samsung customer care on 9th June, 2010 vide ref no. 8406179116. Based on my query, the customer service person has attended personally my query and advised me to change the LCD panel and given an estimate of Rs.25000/ for the repair. Now this is really unacceptable that a brand like Samsung is having such a poor quality LCD panel, which gets damaged within 3 years and the repair cost is Rs.25000/-. Appreciate if you look at this issue on urgent basis and guide me accordingly.

The behavior of the owner of authorized service center was very unprofessional
ACs cooling is not up to the mark since Aug-09. Reported to company people. The compressor as well as capacitor was changed and i was charged for Gas Rs, 1500/. This year when we started using the AC the problem still persists. AC is consuming less amperes than the normal required. When I approached the company service centre, as per them machine is ok.

The behavior of the owner of authorized service center was very unprofessional. he says that samsung should need import technicians from Mumbai and get your AC repaired and used the abusive language.

Buy Samsung at your own risk
One should buy Samsung Refrigerator at their own risk. It is since Jan 2010 we are chasing them to repair our refrigerator. It is four months our fridge is not working. In between they came and changed the compressor (Rs5000) and the fridge conked off within a week. We call them religiously to come and repair. They always have a reply that parts are not available.

Now they have stopped picking up our calls. BUY SAMSUNG at your own risk. There is NO Service available after that. YOU can use your fridge as a cupboard.

Is there any legal recourse to this? instead of fixing the problem... we've only spent more money.

Whenever I call them they told me that, they will call me when my cell is repaired
I have given my cell on 16th of march to the samsung customer care of ghaziabad. It has network problem. They told me to return it back on 18th of march, but they didn''t do the same. And its almost 18 days to come, but they don''t repaired my cell. Even they don''t give me a particular date. Whenever I call them they told me that, they will call me when my cell is repaired. I am fed up with this.
