Avoid Samsung at all costs
I purchased Samsung Washing Machine Model No.WA827ANEC/XTL ON 09.03.2008. On the 8th instant(Yesterday) I called on your Service Centre for replacing the 'water drain hose'. One gentleman from Chennai rang up to my mobile and assured of replacing the same on cost basis by today and that the complaint No. is 8406966817 of 08.02.2010. But today to my surprise, one Mr.Pavan Kumar called me up from land line No.04023387223 at 12.40 PM and again enquired about the problem. When I again narrated, he replied that I have to come to the Service Centre and purchase the same and that they would not come. When I said that how that your people from Cheenai told that they would be sending the person today to replace the same, however, on cost basis, how you could say that you would not come. Then he enquired with somebody which I over heard and finally replied that the part would be sent tomarrow the 10th Feb. as stores is closed today. Now I have some points to be clarified by you. 1) Is there is not any co-ordination between two offices of the same company? 2) Is really the spares shop at Hyderabad is closed today the 9th instant at 12.40 PM.(Whether holiday on Tuesday). 3) Why should I pay for the part (the company people call it as accessories) when the replacement is within the warrany period. 4) If so, what is the sanctuity for the warranty card? Sir, I have never experienced such type of reply/serive from a well renowned organisation i.e., SAMSUNG. I always believe - 'A GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AN UNPAID ADEVERTISEMENT '. So, please do justice in this regard.

Purchased just over 2 yrs. ago and it has a broken panel...they will not fix it. The tv get horizontal lines across the top and has a black smoke line running top to bottom. Samsung acknowledge the issues with the capacitors which caused the TV to click and replaced free of charge but will not acknowledge the other issues and we are outside the warranty. I am sickened to think of the money I spent on a defective product and a company that will not fix their defective product!

I bought a Samsung 26cf, french door refrigerator in July 2008. It cost about $2, 000. DO NOT buy this product because the icemaker is a piece of garbage. My icemaker died within 18 months. This is planned obsolescence, even though Samsung may deny it. If you live in a warm climate like I do, you want an icemaker that works. My other icemaker worked for 18 YEARS.
My retailer, Lowe's, was extremely nice and worked with Samsung to extend my paltry year-long warranty, and they agreed to replace ONLY the part. This process took about a month, after numerous phone calls and much time on hold. However, Samsung denied my claim to pay for labor, which was a whopping $169. Who out there feels that an 18-month-icemaker made of cheap, flimsy plastic is worth that much? If I had to pay for the whole thing, which, luckily, I didn't, it would have been at least $369 or more (the icemaker runs about $200). For a flimsy piece of plastic.
I have learned my lesson. I will never buy another Samsung appliance. My friends and family won't either.

complaint of my washing machine
I am constrained to draw your attention towards the innefficient quality of your washing machine.
model no. samsung 9201 eg 7.2kg w/m, purchased on 4th february 2010.
1st complain was on date 27th march 2010 bp no 84142a19017, my washing tub is showing regular trouble.
my second complain was on date 28th april 2010 bp no. 84142a19017, the spinner of my washing machine did not work and this is reapiting.
I am not satissfied with this machine.So, i kindly request you to exchange this with a new one.I ll be greatly oblised to you and be grateful.I will be waiting for your response.

Poor Customer Service Poor Product
Work with the US Military here in Germany and puchased a Samsung Side by Side fridge for my house. Paid nearly 1500 euros for this thing and after 2 years it has stopped functioning. After doing some internet research it seems that Samsung has a MAJOR issue with their side by side refrigerators that they have chosen not to address. Called the Samsung Service Center here in Germany and was told they will do nothing about it until we fix it and submit a bill. After the repair is received they will decide whether or not it is payable. When asked to talk to someone higher we were told this is not possible and to submit an email, which of course we know will be ignored. Absolutely ridiculous that this company can operate like this. If Toyota has to be made accountable for knowingly putting out a faulty product then Samsung should be made to do the same. This is unacceptable in my opinion that all over the world people are having issues with this product and yet Samsung has made no attempt to do anything about it and basically told us on the phone that it is our problem.

Samsung Incompetent idiots and horrible phones
We should really be able to pick more than one option under product/service.
I had previously bought a Samsung phone (R450) that I had endless problems with. The phone would shut off automatically, the charge port would randomly stop working, and texting was glitchy even though the phone was made for that specific purpose. Then finally the phone crashed, DEACTIVATED itself, and deleted everything on it. According to my carrier, deleting text messages etc. never actually got rid of anything on the phone. Despite nothing really being there, the phone would still use the memory until it was full and then would crash.
Despite all these issues, I stupidly bought a replacement phone made by Samsung, the Samsung Messager II. The moment I got it home I wanted to take advantage of a few of its features and start adding ringtones, music, and wallpapers to the phone. According to Samsung's own manual all you have to do is plug the phone into the computer with a USB cord and it's ready to use. Not true. The phone requires you to install drivers onto your computer, which has to be done after downloading a program from Samsung's website that ISN'T EVEN COMPATIBLE WITH THE PHONE! Anyone going to the customer service (yet another problem with Samsung) and searching Samsung Messager II wouldn't know the phone is incompatible since an article says to upgrade said incompatible program! Even after I got the drivers to install, the computer still wouldn't recognize the phone and all the phone would do was recharge. I tried just about everything I could think of and the only result I got was a headache.
So I e-mailed Samsung's customer support explaining the problem and asking if there was any possible fixes for it. It took these morons a week to e-mail me this response, pretty much ignoring my question;
"Thank you for your inquiry. The device that you have is not compatible with PC Studio 3 or New PC Studio."
Wow. . . Helpful! After a week I had pretty much figured out that the program wasn't going to work, but where was the answer to my question?! Maybe I should apply for a job at Samsung. I'd love to get paid for being an idiot!
I never was able to fix the problem and this will be the very last time I ever purchase another one of Samsung's P.O.S products!

Poor service for AC under warranty
Hi,
I am a Samsung customer.I have my home full of Samsung home appliances such as washing machine, air conditioner, Fridge, T.V. etc. But the afetr sale service that I am getting on A/C under warranty is pathetic. I told the technician who visited my place that compressor is not working and it is under warranty. The technician tried to convince me that there is gas leakage. And went away, stating that some one will come and pick up the AC. But every day I am calling and the customer service people tell me that we have forwarded the case on high priority. But every thing goes in vain. Finally I purchased a new AC today. And Samsung lost one of its valuable customer, as the new AC is Hitachi.

Damaged Washing Machine
I purchased a Samsung Washing machine on 3rd April 2010, on Delivery i recieved a Damaged appliance i called up the Showroom on 5th April 2010 they sent their Executive on 7th April 2010 The person checked and filed the complaint promising would get a replacement in 20 days after 20 days ie. on 26th April 2010 i called the Samsung executive he says it will take another 25 working days not saitsfied i Got the Service manager no. He says i cannot do the replacement immediately neither i can give any written statement for confirmed date of delivery, not satisfied i got his manager no. called him up on 28th April 2010 he took my no. down and said the person said his representatives will call back
