defective tv
i m purchesd a 21inch flat tvof samsung company but within one n half month tv problm has started, when custmer care not do anything we replaceit with new tv, and again the new tv same model starts problems and seller say they dont change the tv, within one weeks i m complaint in consumar forum that your company sell defective pieces, seller-maya sales, bilaspur chattishgarh

HDTV
I bought a Samsung LN-T4665F 46" LCD HDTV in June, 2007 from Best Buy. Within 9 months I started having problems with it. The screen would remain black when I turned it on. The blue light on the bottom of the set would come on, so I know it was getting power.
After reviewing several forums on the internet for similar problems, I found one temporary solution was to turn the set on and off about a dozen or so times and the picture "might" stay on...Well, I tried this. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't.
Fortunately, I purchased the 4-year warranty for $349.99 when I bought the TV in 2007. (I don't normally do this. However, the cost of the TV then was over $2, 800, before taxes.) So, I called Best Buy to request service. It was like pulling teeth!
However, to make a long story short, it's taken almost a year and no less than three (3) service calls to my home by a service technician. His last visit was on 8/1/2009, when he finally replaced the LCD panel/screen, the main power supply board, and the main circuit board in the TV. The cost of the labor and parts was well over $3, 000. No kidding! The technician sent me an email showing the cost breakdown. Fortunately it didn't cost me a dime because of the warranty. The TV worked OK for several weeks, but then the same old symptoms started occurring again a couple of weeks ago.
I then called Best Buy Service (The Geek Squad) on 9/22/2009 again and demanded a new HDTV. They told me they would seek management approval for me to acquire a new TV and would get a confirmation number to me within 3-5 business days. I'm supposed to be able to take this issue back to the Best Buy store, give them the confirmation number and get a new, comparable TV. I wonder what they consider comparable!?!
I'm now waiting for that confirmation number from The Geek Squad. If I don't hear from them by mid next week, I'll call them back...
It's been a long two (2) frustrating years with this Samsung TV, Best Buy, and their Geek Squad!
I'll never purchase any Samsung product again, from Best Buy or anyone else.

Monitor RMA
My Samsung monitor's power supplied failed 12 days ago. It's still under warranty.
I called the support line and arranged to have a new monitor crossed shipped with a deposit on my credit card, which would be removed once I returned the defective product.
Before proceeding, they required that I fax the proof of purchase. I did this immediately.
To make a long story short: I've now faxed it 6 times. They apparently still haven't received it. The fax department is separate from the customer support centre, which means that the support centre wouldn't send the replacement monitor until the 'arrival' of the receipt.
After many, many phone calls, I finally managed to reach someone other than the front-end flunkies. He discovered that there was some sort of problem with the transfer system. I can only imagine how many global customers are angry with them but have said nothing.
I could have shipped the old monitor with the proof of purchase faster than their fax system.
I'm still awaiting the arrival of the replacement unit. I'll never purchase another Samsung product again if it means that the warranty is useless due to inept customer support.

Hi, I have got Samsung SCH-W619 phone from India one year ago. Right now I am in Washingon DC US. Trying to use this phone with AT&T sim card. But my mobile is not recognizing sim card. Is there any settings to be done? Please let me know.

Overpriced
Bought the 50" Samsung Plasma TV one year ago today from the Sam's Club on Park Blvd. Spent over $2500 for it and now one year later the TV is shot but without a receipt Samsung will do nothing. I can't believe spending that kind of money for a one year TV when it claims to have a 65, 000 hour bulb. Of course I am very upset looking thru the house for the receipt but it is no where to be found. Nice Christmas present last year for the family now it's a nice pain in the but!!! How can they get away with that, they can look up the serial # model # and see that it was manufactured in June 2008, that's the manufacturer date, by the time we got it in Novemeber 2008 there is no way we could have used it for 65, 000 hours.
