Fraudulent business practices
I'd like to file a complaint about the corporation SAMSUNG. We bought a PLASMA TV screen which are all the rage at the moment. Everyone seems to be buying them. We bought one, it broke within two months of us purchasing it. We also purchased a very expensive warranty. When we contacted SAMSUNG to ask them about repairing the TV which should be covered under warranty, they told us that cracks in the plasma are not covered under warranty! I was shocked to hear that the very technology that makes plasma TVs function, is not covered. The crack just appeared one day out of the blue and we only had it for two months. We suspect that the TV itself was defective from the start but Samsung refused to cover it. There are millions of complaints about Samsung on the internet. I think they are engaging in fraudulent business practices by selling warranties that are of no use to the customer.

Fraud and liars
The TV was purchased on Thnaksgiving 2008. It stopped working 37 day after it was delivered. I have been told by both Samsung and the repair center that the parts are not available . I have been told twice it would be replaced and twice the exchange was denied. I was told the name of the shipping company, the model of the TV, to get the old TV returned to my house only to be told 5 days later the exchange was denied. I was old the claim was denied because their customer service department did not fill the claim form out correctly.
The company still does not have the parts to repair my TV. They will not exchange the TV. They are not upholding their manufacturer's warranty. Is incompetence or fraud?

Home Theater
I am very disappointed with the quality of this product.
I bought the home theater on Jan. 30th 2009. During that time i.e. 9 months, it has been sent to repair twice under Job Numbers: WJ090530009 and WJ090912015
Obviously this is not the type of quality expected from any product let alone a brand name like yours.
In short I am very dissatisified and will not be buying any Samsung products again. I will definitely discourage my friends and contacts from buying Samsung products as well.

Service
I have now been without my fridge for 15 days. I bought the unit the 7th of August 2009 and it lasted until August 30th. I have called no less than a dozen times and get different reponses everytime. I am now told that replacing the food is a curtesy and they will see if they can do that. Please Please Please do not consider buying anything Samsung produces. The units are very nice (if they work) but if something ever happens you are pretty much on your own.

Customer Service - lack there of
I made the mistake of purchasing their BlueRay BD-P1600. Called customer service 4 times now! Some BlueRay disc will play others will not, despite having the lastest firmware upload! Customer service has promised me 3 times now to send a disc in order to re-load all the firmware...almost 3 weeks, no disc even after repeated calls to the "executive level".
What a joke! I was assurred an executive would call me...still waiting after 4 days...no call, no disc, no usefull player and now at 11:30 AM on 9/8, the executive level escalation phones are being updated. I was rudley told to call back in 2 hours.
What reasonable business would update a system in the middle of the business day?
They do not care!

Horrible customer service
I bought a printer in March 09 and in late August 09 it started jamming every time I tried to print. I called their service center and was told that the printer, based on the serial number, was out of warranty. I told them the purchase date and was instructed to fax my receipt. I was then told that I needed to call back in 24 hours to see if they got it.
What? I have to call THEM to see if they got my information? OK, fine. I call back the next day only to hear that they had not received it. In fact, all faxes go to a central location to be sorted by a person. How silly is that? So they tell me to wait another day and call again. At this point I am 3 days without a printer. I call back the next day and again, they don't have my receipt.
I ask, for the second time, if there is an email address I can send the receipt to to ensure it arrives. They say no, but when I push then they tell me that I can submit it online! I could have done that 4 days prior. By this point I am just pissed. SO I go online and submit the receipt. The next business day I call back and, thank GOD, they have it. Now to schedule service.
They tell me I have to take my printer to a service center. I have to lug this printer out of my office, through a parking garage and back once it is done. The time I've spent on this now is worth more than what I paid for the printer, literally. And the closest center is 25 minutes away! The service tech tries to tell me the computer says otherwise, but I lived on the exact street that this center is loated and I know how far it is. Ridiculous. But my OTHER option is to wait for a replacement, refurb printer. This would take 3-5 days and would require a credit card hold of $200. Once the refurb arrived I would have to strip the insides out of my current machine and put them into the 'new' one. The CC hold would only be released after the broken shell of a machine was received back.
Great options, eh? When I had a broken HP printer, they had a tech out within 2 hours to fix it. I didn't have to jump through hoops or call 6 times to get it done either.
I will NEVER buy from Samsung again.

bad product, cad service
Bought a small S860 digital camera. Actually 2. One has small spec of dust in lens or on ccd. The other was much worse. Was sent back for service 3 times unsuccesfully because each time the dust remained. After angry emails and calls to the service center no replies were received although promised every time again.
Please do yourself a favour and do not buy a Samsung digital camera. You will be happy you didn't.
Not sure if the same lousy service applied to other electronics but I for one will not run the risk by purchasing their brand name again.

Terrible support
52" LCD television developed two red lines from top to bottom on television 14 months after purchase. Have been waiting two months to have the television repaired. They sent out a technician to change the video board about two weeks after the problem developed. The television continues to have the two vertical red lines on the screen. Have been waiting an additional 6 weeks since the first service call and the part they believe will fix the telivision is still unavailable. Do yourself a favor and purchase another brand. If your tv breaks its not worth the hassle of dealing with their customer support.

worst customer services in the world
Samsung is the wrost send a services guy out after one mounth after I call them to services my TV.
How can the services center order parts for the TV and don't know what s wrog?GORO shannon @ the service center goro to go 888-548-7688 came out and order the wrong part said her tech made a mistake, now after two more weeks.Samsung calim my TV is non repairabile and will refund me for the TV and give me a case number for a check Melissa at Samsung case# 4005365371 .Again I had to call Samsung now Samsung claim the TV was damage and will not honor my TV and the warranty is void bullshit I ask them to send me pictures and notthing is damage with the TV just will not turn on and I send them pictures Samsung just wants to give customer the RUN AROUND and take hard working people money.I will be for sure taking samsung to small claim court. all because I was hang up on many times from ECR over and over again no at Samsung was train to handle a case in a professional manner just put on hold hang up on me almost the whole day my blood presure went up I will use my phone bill in court as per this and sue for that as well these people are the wrost lyers all day rund around non STOP BULLSHIT BBB will hear about this too.
