I purchased a Samsung SGH-A177 at ATT for my wife. Seveal days after she started using it the back cover came off and she lost it. I contacted Samsung and they said I would have to go to ATT and ask them for a cover (run around for sure). ATT said they did not have and "COULD NOT GET PARTS FOR THE PHONE". I told them I would gladly pay for the back because I paid over $80.00 for the phone and did not want to throw it away. I have several friends that have the same phone and they said the back comes off all the time. It is quite thin and easy to come off.
ATT would not corporate in any way. I have four accounts with ATT since cell phone came about and I am in the process of getting a new carrier after all this time. ATT again getting to big for their pants, treating customers as if we need them.
