I recently purchased a Samsung washing machine about 5 months ago. Not long after purhcase, the machine started to display intermitent errors during the washing cycle. It wasn't long before the machine was not functioning at all so I put in a request for a service call to Samsung. A week later a technician came out and diagnosed the problem to be over user of washing detergent even though the error code suggested something different.
Anyway, we still had the same problem had 2 more visits from technicians over the course of 2 weeks and the problem was still not resolved. Finally the service centre reported to samsung that the problem could not be resolved and requested that a replacement machine be sent out.
Samsung are now saying that it will take a total of 10 working days for them to respond from there case manager.
This this normal? We have been without machine for over 3 weeks and now will have to wait at least 10 days just to receive a reponse..
The fact that this machine is only 5 months old, been stuffed around by technicians and constant delays is appauling.

after sale service
i just bought a samsung top loading fully auto matic washing machine from Surindra Radios SCO 1125 Sector 22-B Chandigarh on 6 may 2011. The dealer has not arranged demo for the product despite my repeated calling .
and moreover after opening the pack i found that inlet pipe and outlet pipe and product manual are missing . And moreover now they are not even ready to pick my phone .I tried to lodge a compliant against dealer @ company s website and customer care phone numbers . Neither the daeler nor company(samsung india ) is ready to listen or help

no service even after one month of registering complaint
I had purchased a samsung washing machine which became non-functional on 15/12/2010.I registered a complaint with samsung service center(phone no: 0471 2465347) on 18/12/2010 and the complaint no is 8418715944.Since the problem was not rectified I contacted the manager Mr George on 13/1/2011.Iwas assured that the complaint would be rectified in a day. But nothing has happened and the manager now does not attend the calls. Each time I contact the service they will ask for the details and will assure to call back in 10 minutes, but nothing happens. Without exaggeration i can say that I have already made 60-70 calls.It is a shame that the staff of your service center finds happiness in fooling people and such irresponsible behaviour even from the part of the manager is unbecoming of an officer with responsibility. A washing machine is of daily use .The service center had told that spare parts are available.Inspite of this they are unwilling to attend to the complaint .Seeking some action. i had purchased a washing machine but even after passage of 20 days no one frm comapny has come up to give demo and when i have contacted to the dealer he replied in very bad manner that it is not his responsiblity to send request fr the same

Samsung wash m/c was taken to service centre and not given back for 8 days
It has been 8 days till today and my samsung washing m/c has not been returned by the service centre of Samsung. The machine was shaking vigourously while rotating and water leakage too. The machine was sent to repair on 3. 5. 2010.

washing machine board problem
my washing machine was not working.i made a complaint to local service centre in trivandrum, kerala. on 2 months before.the service engineer visited 2 months before and said that, the board has to be replace, so u have to get the board with in 5 days.my complaint no is BO412.after that nobody turned up.i made a call somany times..no response till now. if this is the situation with your servicecentre then what we have to do...kindly dothe needful as early as possible.

non attendance by samsung company rep
It is to submit that i had purchased samsung washing machine model no 9201 EG/XTL SR NO WO925ZCQA01900D Wt 7.2 kg on last diwali. It has not been long the connecting wire has completely got burn on 01 sep 2009 . The dealer vaid electronics, batala have been approach on numerous occasion but to no awail the poor response on part of dealer has not only put the name of company at stake but trust of customer in doubt. it is requested that company to send its rep at the earliest for repairs at following address.

Unduly harassed by Samsung attitude
My 4 year old semi automatic washing machine is not working since 22nd May 2007. I registered a complaint with the company(complaint no. 8405273159) on 24th May 2007. We were visited by a company engineer who decided that a part needs to be changed and he promised to get it done in two days.
On 26th I called up at the engineers cell phone number to be told that the part was not available, but he would definitely get the repair done in another 2-3 days time. Again I called him up and was told it will take some more time. I called up the company helpline, where they assured me that the complaint will be attended to within another 2 days. Everytime we fixed a certain date and time, so as to be definitely available at home, but were kept waiting without a call or any information. The hepline is useless as they have no knowledge of availability of parts, the cost of repairs or who will be visiting etc. Yesterday I managed to speak to the company service centre, where I was assured that they were inquiring the part on an urgent basis and would be able to get the repair done in another 2-3 days time. And the part that will be replaced will cost about Rs. 1100 but comes with a one month guarantee only! I am definitely unhappy and feel unduly harassed by their attitude.

Non replacement of a defective washing machine
I bought a Silver Nano 6kg washing on 31OCT2006 which was delivered on 01Nov2006. The machine kept making a lot of noise and would not take a full load. I called up the service centre and explained the problem and fixed an appointment fours days in advance. Instead of a technician a demonstrator arrived and that too 5 hours after the appointed time. The machine gear box is defective according to two different Samsung technicians including Mr Bakshi. The technicians tried on two different occasions to open the machine but because the screws brackets were also defective they could not do so. After a lot of argument one Mr Basitkar agreed to replace the machine. I also received a call from one Mr Tariq 3weeks ago saying the machine would replaced. Today at 1115 when I called up Mr Basitkar he couldn't even recall who I was despite reminding him that I earlier had even offered to buy another machine and wait for a refund on the defective one. He promised to get back to me but as usual there is no reply. When I asked his office for the Delhi Head Office number she declined . I also spoke last evening to Mr Bakshi and his reply was totally unprofessional...that since I had been patient for so long I should still wait for another three weeks or so.
As an earlier complainant has put on record ...NEVER EVER BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT !
