I wish to seek your guidance for getting a complaint redressed against Samsung Inida, from whom I bought an AC in 2002. The equipment started giving trouble from the day-1 of installation after it was found having high noise and vibrations. Immediately on purchase, I was declined any support by the dealer and referred to Service Centre. I would ring up The Service Centre dozens of time. They came a couple of times and could sort out the problem. I continued to live up with the defect piece in the hope that it might get rectified over a period of time and noise would lessen.
I have a partial record of the problem since 2005. Now the compressor of the said AC is not working and company is declining to rectify the problem, saying that I would have to pay the entire compressor price. The problem in compressor could have occured over a period of time due to vibration etc. The company has only been assuring and not doing the needful, putting us to great inconvenience all along.
In view of this, it is my request to please guide me as to how I can take up the case as the company's representative has told that they can't further give name of any other senior person in the company. I have high hopes that my case has a merit and hope that I will be accorded the due attention by the company. Please guide me on my further course of action.
