I was having trouble with a car dealership that sold me a car with damages not reported to me. So my next step was to open up a suit against the dealership, so i headed to San Diego Law Firm. I read up on them on a blog and they had received good reviews. I met with the attorneys to discuss my situation and with them saying they could win this without a doubt i obtained there services. The company had a policy on taking a deposit of $3500 and taking from that deposit to fund the case. If the deposit runs below $1500 they will give you a notice and if you ask for an account balance they will tell you. I was told the complaint draft would be done in about three days and the dealership would be served. Now as four to five days goes on there is still no complaint completed yet and the dealership still not served. I sent emails asking of account balance and when the dealership would be served but received no response. So I then proceeded to call the firm to get my account balance and what going on with the case. I was told that the case was already after only a few days cost was above $1000 and that a meeting was necessary to discuss the case. The prolonged complaint draft and lack of responses to my emails persuaded me to cancel there services. As I am canceling the case the lawyer then tells me he was have lots of doubt about pursuing the case and it was a good thing I was dropping this case. The lawyer was very deceptive about how he could win this case knowing that he could not. When the invoice came in for the money that is suppose to be refunded from the funds unused, i only got a refund of $120. Over $3300 was used to only make a prolonged draft complaint not served that was poorly and inaccurately written. The law firm was dilatory with my case and not given it the attention it need to become a successful case. I was charged for emails between outside lawyers and the firm without my knowing. I was also charge for our supposedly free first meeting and contact updates. i was charged a ridiculous amount for emails that only received a yes or no answer. The lawyer had the audacity to say he believed he was give me a fair and discounted price which it was certainly not. Do not trust SAN DIEGO LAW FIRM they are a bunch scam artist who do not have any interest in your case. They are very misleading and overprice for the quality of work put in.
