My daughter was driving my Explorer the other day when it started leaking fuel.
We had it towed to the dealership 2 miles away.
The fuel filter connector had come loose.
No big deal, right?
Well, the clip was broken so the only solution was to replace the fuel line.
A quick search showed no clip was available for a '99.
They had to drop the tank and replace the line.
$759.00!!
Unfortunately I'm injured and my shoulder isn't healed enough for me to do the work myself.
I get the old line back. All they had to do was cut the end off and splice a $2 piece of gas hose on it.
I'll be damned if Sanderson Ford in Glendale will ever see me back in their dealership again.
