Lost payment
This is to complain about CitiBank Financial Services and Santander Consumer. I sent a payment that was never credited to my account. Here is the story. Originally my auto loan was with CitiBank and a few weeks ago I received a letter to send my auto loan payments to Santander. Don't know why this was changed. Because my job requires me to work out-of-town, I make most of my payments using MoneyGram offered by Walmart. I made the September payment to CitiBank as usual because I was not aware of the change until later. The payment was never posted to my account. After phone calls, letters, faxes, etc. the matter has not be resolved. They can not find my payment. Walmart traced the payment to see if it was at CitiBank. They found out that the payment really went to Santander after all. So what is the deal between CitiBank and Santander, are they the same company??? and where is my payment? I am afraid to send another payment since they lost one. and of course they will not accept my documentation as proof that a payment was made and of course they are adding fines and fees all along

Rip off
All I can say is this, if you are unlucky enough to get STUCK with this company GET OUT as soon as you can. They will rip you off in more ways than one. They charge you late fees if your account is less than 10 days passed due. They jacked our account around so bad after they took it over from another finance company it wasn't even funny. We always made our payments through money gram with our other company, never one problem. When santander took over we could not even do that, OH and good luck getting someone who speaks unbroken english if you ever have to call them.

Very poor choise
The transition of this company for my auto loan has not been "seamless" at all as promised by Citifinancial. Their representatives are horrible and provide no customer service on aiding in their online issues with making payments. I was already frustrated that I couldn't get my account set up to make my payment only to have someone in collections answer the call and just tells me to email and they will call back. I got annoyed that this is at their convenience after sitting on hold and she refused my payment over the phone and hung up on me. Really!! I'm just trying to make a payment!

unscrupulous business practices
I ahve had nothing but problems with Santander and now they are trying to repossess my car . I have been unemployed for the last 10 months and have tried to stay current with my loan. Because of Santander 's business practices that has been virtually impossible. I have been trying to get even with my loan and their CSR'S do nothing to help just try and collect money for there own well being . I would like somebody to deal with this company in a legal way they are rude wrong and charge you needlessly . I have 8 payments left on my vehicle and would like to be done with this company but as of now I can see no end in sight. PLEASE!!! somebody help me take action against this company they are very wrong and rude to every customer they deal with. I have never been lied to and manipulated more by a company than with Santander.

Debited after being paid off
I’ve never been so frustrated with a company. Santander Consumer is very poorly run. My auto loan was recently purchased by Santander from Citi. I reached out to Santander who indicated that I would need to set up an automatic Debt with them if I wanted to continue the payment service automatically. However, I purchased a new vehicle and traded in the car attached to the Santander account. They were paid off in full and I check to make sure using their online service. However, on the 1st they debited my account $650.00 for a payment on my old car even after they were paid off in full. I never signed up for their auto debt, but they stated that my contract with Citi rolled to them. All this I understand, people and companies make mistakes. However, they 1st indicated that it could take up to 7-10 business days to complete the refund. This is a long time to be out $650.00 but I decided to let it go and not make a huge stink. I called yesterday to check on the progress and to make sure they received the fax of my bank records showing prof that they did in fact draw the moneys (great accounting department they must have), and they indicated to me that my request is being processed. This time the manager said it could take up to 35-40 days to get the refund. I find this unbelievable. Does anyone out there have any suggestions? Can the Better Business Bureau do anything? I’m beyond angry at this point and feel powerless against this servicing company. Help if you can…. thx

Scam
Triad Financial sold loans at the end of the loan term

to there partners in crime Santander consumer USA

to collect extra interest fees.

This is a scam. Santander issues a new account number and

places it on your credit report and it appears as a new loan. Then they

hire a reposetion company that is out of state to go around

your city looking for you useing information on your credit report.

There is no writen cominication from Santander, they claim

that they are a small company and can't aford the paperwork

I call them for a copy of the original sales agreement and they

told me that they have no record of it.

The manager at Santander was rude and threatened to garnish my

wages. They are not even in the state of California.

Triad Financial is a Scam.

See you in court.

A very angry and disappointed consumer that will fight

to make sure this does not continue.

FRAUDULENT - BUSINESS
This company which is named Santander Consumer in Texas USA is trying to get extra fraudulent fees from me which I never had with Citi Finacial Auto. I have always made my payment way before it was due and now I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY WHICH I ALREADY DID RESEARCH ON ONLY AFTER ONE DAY OF DEALING WITH THEM AND WOW TO MY SURPRISE EVERYONE IS HAVNG THE SAME PROBLEM AS IN THOUSANDS OF UNLUCKY FAMILIES.

SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE!!!

ARE THEY PART OF SOME TYPE OF MAFIA SCAM - TOTAL RIP OFFS - WHO ARE THESE CRACKPOT WHO THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING!!!

THIS NEEDS TO GO TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE USA, ASAP, WHO WILL BE THE ONLY ONE TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING!!!

All I want is to be treated like a good customer like I used to be with Citi Finacial Auto

INCORRECT INFORMATION
DRIVE FINANCIAL WAS BOUGHT BY THIS NIGHTMARE COMPANY NAMED SANTANDER CONSUMER USA. I HAVE LIVED NOTHING BUT NIGHTMARE WITH THEM EVER SINCE. I NEVER ENCOUNTERED A COMPANY WITH SO MUCH HARRASSMENT TOWARDS THE CUSTOMER WHO THEY WANT MONEY FROM AND ARE WILLING TO PAY, BUT AS SOON AS YOU NEED SOMETHING FROM THEM YOU WILL NEVER GET IT AND YOU WILL SPEAK TO ABOUT 6 REPS BEFORE YOU GET AN ANSWER LIKE THIS IS THE BEST THAT I CAN DO FOR YOU AND THAT IS EMAILING SOMEONE ELSE WITHIN THE SAME COMPANY FOR A SIMPLE LETTER LIKE A PAY OFF LETTER AND THEY KEEP SAYING LIES THAT I WILL GET IT BUT I NEVER DO AND THE AMOUNT CONTINUES TO CHANGE EVERY TIME YOU SPEAK TO SOMEONE AND EVERY REP HAS A DIFFERENT VERSION AND THAT JUST PROVES NO ONE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT TO SAY TO US AS CUSTOMERS AND FOR A REP TO ADMIT THAT SANTANDER HAS BOUGHT OUT TO MANY OTHER FINANCE COMPANIES SEEMS LIKE THE REPS ARE TOLD TO NOT GIVE THE PROPER HELP THE CUSTOMER AND CONTINUE TO LIE TO THEM TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF US. Will take your money
Citi sold our closed auto loan to this Santander Company. They auto drafted our bank account, that's how we found out they existed. Now we are out almost $400 and we first, would have to wait 35 to 45 days to hear anything. Then it was our fault it happened, because we had already made sure the account was closed, it was our fault. Now it's we have to take it up with our bank, what the *&$% for they don't owe us any money. Our loan was paid in full and now they have extra money of mine to make interest off of, no wonder they are a growing company, they are stealing to get it.

harrassment
I've been having problems with company they call people and tell them that my loan has been approved when i havent even applied for a loan and also tell people that they are private investigators just so they can get in contact with me . they call all hours of the day and night even on the weekend and if you make a payment they still call and harrass you they just dont stop. They dont care if your going through some difficulties, they just keep keep stressing you and you feel that you no way to go to get help.
